This topic is something I have been thinking about a lot lately. Mostly because, I cannot play league! Well, not as much as I used too anyway. My new home has crappy internet and if I want to play, I have to stay up past midnight or wake up at 6 in the morning for a game or two. Little success has been reached in resolving it but it has given me time to think about how I might improve my skills, without ever logging onto Leauge. My goal is to find ways to practice my skills while enjoying other games and targeting my practice time. While I could play vast numbers of matches to get better, often times it is much better to target the skills you want to improve and maximize your practice time. Some of these games give me the ability to target those skills and others are just things I can play that do not require an internet connection.
Some of you are probably already aware of this, but Riot has finally agreed with the player base that the current champion selection method is not working as well as intended. Shocking right? Let us go over some of the issues associated with the current champion selection screen and some of the community purposed fixes.
Leona is in my opinion, one of the most horrifying supports to play against in solo que. When played well, she counters pretty much any other support out there. Blitzcrank? Leona can take him. Taric? Leona is deadly here too. Thresh? Undead don't like the sun. I do not think Riot intended for Leona to be a support, but she works out really well in that role. She is still a tank and has among the highest all-in. She is scary as early as level 2. She is strong early, strong late and just plain useful.
Hello everyone, I want to go over with you some unusual supports and just get to thinking about what makes supports work. In doing so we get to a deeper understanding of supports and find something entertaining to mess with. I have added a video to this to try something different. If you like it, I will do more, but the rest of this will cover most of what I cover in the video.
