anyone who doesn't vote for more tier list updates must be crazy. the tier lists suck at being updated regularly.
I would like to see more articles related to ranked 5's for those of us interested in forming teams or improving the ones we already have. I find it extremely difficult to find good information on: team strategies in champ selection, in group fighting, objective priorities, coaching/training excersises and techniques. This isn't on the poll but I wanted to throw it out there. Thanks!
The two things I enjoy the most are the math posts and the tier list updates. However, I read all the articles as I find them very helpful. I would defintely want to see more frequent tier list updates, especially the competitive tier lists. why would you combine them all into one? now i dont know who to use for which role. For example, when "Shyvana is in the middle of tier 1", would this be jungle Shyvana or top lane Shyvana? Both are strong and are seen often in competitive play. I would love to see Elementz go back to splitting the competitive tier list into 4/5 parts, as it would help many players like me.

Voting for Gustaf's theorycrafting posts. Mechanics underly everything we do in-game, and even if you don't agree with his premises it's good to see the maths behind them.
Honourable mentions for tier lists and the above 5v5s posts.

I didn't vote for it, but Molster/Gekkos stuff is awesome. I love my daily dose of league. I also agree with ace and cupermann.

What I like the most about this site are the detailed and reliable news round-ups.
The poll result is exactly as I had expected/hoped though.
Oh, Cuperman and Acerunner have a point there. I'd love to see some out-of-the-box team comps as well.
Yours sincerely, the next Einstein.
Anyone can come up with their own Tier Lists... I don't place any weight in them at all personally, because they're all about opinions and they only matter if you play to the META, and I'd rather that the community wasn't META sheep... Finding a champion which you think is strong, and utilizing that champion is far better than just following what everyone else is doing... We're not all Pro's, so why does it matter what a Pro thinks we should play? They play differently (and better) than we do, their playstyles are different, I'd rather find a champion that best suits my own playstyle, instead of changing my playstyle to suit their suggested champions... AKA, I don't care about Tier Lists, at all...
Honestly, the math crafting and real-game application of that math crafting is far more interesting in my opinion... They don't tell you what to build, or how to play, they simply show some math behind certain choices... But they're still choices, and they're still situational... Real-game applications show us that... You could rush an IE/PD/LW every single game whenever you play Ashe... Because someone told you to... Or, you could decide for yourself, sure, it might give you the most DPS, as somoeone explained to you... However, what if the other team has an MF, Garen, Malphite and Swain? Would you still rush those items? Or would you realize that perhaps ExCa would be a far better option, because on the passive/active... It might give less DPS, but it has a huge amount of utility in this situation... That's how I want people to build, situationally... And the Theory crafting and real-game application articles help people realize that they shouldn't build every single AD carry exactly the same, no matter who they play or who they're palying against... /end rant
Poor Hashinshin. Don't get me wrong, I like his rants, but what I'd like to see more of is interesting reds and tier list updates.
i think that tier list are kinda over rated. sure there are those op champs that are out leagues, but for the most part i think its about counters, team comp and viability. most champs are strong and weak in their own way, its just the few that are stronger and have less weaknesses, ie: alistar, graves, shen, and unnerfed rengar - what up kengiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Honestly, Hashinshin's posts always come off as poorly written and lacking in strong argument to me. No offence to the guy, I've just honestly thought of him as the least impressive poster on RoG.
P.S. Sorry Hashinshin, if you read this. Not trying to insult you, just giving my opinion.

Tier Lists are IMHO one of the most important posts on this website. No other post can get to the 'niddy griddy' of what makes this game so interesting - BALANCE -between enemy champions and theory crafting potential match ups Math is fun as a second, but tier lists are the bread and butter of how I view the infrastructure of this game, and my play style.

^^ is why hashininshin is awesome.
I love innovation, even if it just gets people to stop and actually think, but particularly when it is used to find anything that can give you an edge on the Rift. So, of course I voted for Mathcrafting, as it's post like those by GentlemanGustaf, VVinrar and oldmaneyebrows that get the wider community to open their eyes and stop blindly following their peers. This is all the more important with the upcoming changes for season 3. Those who conquer the new items and their unique combinations first, will get a ticket to free wins. Math and experimentation will show the way.
Tier listings are great for those more specialist players who stick to a specific role, but want to keep up to date with the stronger picks in all lanes.
Team oriented posts/blogs would be fantastic indeed. I'd love to see more of that discussing comps, playstyles, and even, team management/organisation.
Roughly ranked in order of preferences ;)
P.s. Please can we get some mathcrafting done on the new TT items? I'd love to see this mode get popular enough for solo queue (go make ranked teams guys, Riot are using that as a guide to popularity!). For example, with the new upgrade items for Brutaliser, you can actually build LVDP, YG and Brutaliser for some pretty insane bonuses (95 AD, 35% CDR, 60 Arm Pen, 10% SV, 350 HP, 15% CC, not including active on YG!). I've been testing this out on Graves running 25 ArmPen, 13 Armour, 8 MR/lvl and 1 CDR/lvl. That's 40% CDR and 91 ArmPen!
