Basically, why the hell does Ezreal get to be Viable as AD and AP? and not Katarina? I feel should could be incredibly fun to play if tweaked right. Riot keeps nerfing AP Katarina but, in doing so is destroying AD Kat(not that she was viable) in the process, nerfs to base damages, movement speed and the duration/amount of damage reduction... it just doesnt seem fair that whenever Riot nerfs or buffs Ezreal that they consider his Alt. Build and not Katarinas.

AD Katarina is retarded, and the reason is that while building AP you get a lot of tankyness along the way (zhonya's, rylais's, abyssal scepter) while building heavy AD makes you sqishy and melee and everyone knows how viable melee squish is these days (AD Master Yi ahoy!).

AD Ez and AP Ez do very different things, and therefore are irrelevant to your argument. Try AP and AD Teemo, maybe. Or possibly Kayle.
AD ratio's on her ult are good? She gets 3.0 per BONUS AD. You'll get a maximum of say, 200-300 bonus AD, which is 600-900 damage. She gets 1.75 per AP, which you'll get about 600-700 of, which is 1050-1225 damage. Not to mention that it is magic damage from her ult, and you build tons of magic pen on AP Kat, AND the rest of her skills are AP. AD Kat is not even conversation material.
The one thing that hasn't been explicitely mentioned yet is this: ez is ranged (being ranged is very tightly linked to AD viability, hence tristana). The other major reason is what this guy said:

AD Kat doesnt just dump her shit and then back off 1000 units if she didnt get the reset, she builds more like a bruiser, she peels, chases, initiates, tanks(mostly) and sustains her way through a fight where as AP is all about burst and avoiding damage.
Anyway, im not saying all this because i want her to be viable in Gold+. I just want her to do well enough to not be a troll pick since i love her to bits but hate playing burst.
