I think you missed the underlying joke of how they're all champions that use poison, toxic is another word used for poison sometimes :P

I personally just run CDR Glyphs, on a 9/0/21 setup (ends up being 16.5 or 17.5%) and delay CDR until after a Deathcap xd Sometimes I might choose for a semi-early Fiendish Codex.. but not for a whole Morellonomicon/Athene's though..

I liked it better when she was unplayed, she was one of my main staples for season 2, along with Xerath :p Also.. she's not a bad support, the level 6 burst when paired with Ezreal or Graves is still amusing to watch.

Did you also notice that the game is listed as Summoner's Rift? My speculation suggest that they started working on this project before Season 3 came out.

Lolwikia uses a different method to calculate cost-effectiveness, they base the gold per stat by the most inefficient item (40 gold per AD, Long Sword, as opposed to 34.4 gold per AD, BF Sword, for example)

People before said that Maw of Malmortius is inefficient, not Hexdrinker :P

Xerath already does naturally well against short range AP Mages.. how would that change against AD Casters? Not many champions can contend with that spammable range.

I imagine Orianna, Lux are quite good against them too.. or bringing back a solo lane Lulu, Lulu dominated top laners early on a while back, wouldn't change too much in this lane either.

I'd say to follow the Triforce with a Guardian Angel, after that.. just more defenses as needed, Frozen Heart, Randiun's Omen comes to mind.. Wit's End could be good, I'm not a big fan of it though, GA + Merc Treads should cover your MR needs.

Edit: Just to note, I wouldn't recommend Ionic Spark, it's getting removed on the next patch.. Wit's End is also losing some MR, so the attack speed items really aren't going to help that much.

I'm mostly going to be referring to WickD's setup.. in fact, it's probably just better if you read that :P

Edit: One more thing, item-wise, pretty much always, rush your Triforce (Phage -> Zeal -> Sheen), could add a Heart of Gold, but I'd recommend against it. Don't bother with a Wit's End or any other items really until your Triforce is done.

I typically run solo top Lulu against Darius, it's just like Teemo, except you have more CC and immediate damage to play with.. You can out-range him with Glitterlance (925 range vs 550 from Apprehend, 425 on Decimate), Lulu's auto-attack range is 550, but that's roughly 520 in spell range.. 

Another idea is running Swain, Kennen, Caitlyn.. they all have ranged harassment and CC (snare/stun), Karma can also work, she out-ranges Darius with her Q, she also can slow him and speed boost herself, and on-top of that, she has a shield to absorb all the damage he deals and return damage back to him.

Jax should be able to beat Darius, what masteries are you running? I know that Indomitable (in the Defense tree) is key, minimum 11 Defense tree is required for solo top, if not 21 Defense.
