A full jungle map with no lane, two monster camps and a buff on each side, a bit more gold as a start to allow a ward and 3 winning conditions :

    -First blood.

    -Taking the enemy buff.

-Taking a number of enemy monsters.

    Something like that.

I was actually thinking about the Mid challenge if they had Blue buff (No Golem, just like a sitting buff or something) spawn at 5 min in, to see the Mids with blue. I like that jungle idea though.

The caitlin vs caitlin match was a bit dull, but that's because caitlin is dull as dog shit, not because the format had issues.

Yeah it was. It was pretty much Diamond saying "I have LS quints, enjoy going back to heal until I kill you." Although, NA bot lane was really fun to see and the Saint's Heimerdinger was pretty interesting.

That 2v2/1v1 magma chamber thing happened last night? I saw the NA VS LPL.....i think? Match, and was like "that was cool" but then headed to sleep, cuz that game happened at like 2 am for me, and I was like screw it time to sleep.

The prelims happened Thursday morning, and the Semi-finals were this morning, the finals are tomorrow morning. They're really interesting to watch. They happen before the matches.

Note - I live is EST time, so whatever may vary for 'morning.'

Well... what else could or should they have done?

Ultimately, it's a 1v1 map. It's not a contest for the best jungler or top laner or mid or whatever - the 5v5 meta does not, and cannot matter. It's simply a contest for the best 1v1 player.

And the 2v2s were not anywhere close to a real bottomlane either, simply because there were no supports (I don't mean the class, I mean the role).

I don't think can effectively show great jungling as jungling is more about shoutcalling, playmaking, decision making, and passing information along your team while consistently protecting objectives, farming, assisting lanes, and giving/getting kills than pure mechanical skill which of course doesn't hurt. It's just not jungling, I wanted to see like a jungling obstacle course or something. :(

However, I think the others are true representation of skill between the dual and solo lanes. I mean especially bottom lane, being in sync and adapting, as top and mid also, kill your opponent, outfarm them without dying, or kill turret, effectively winning lane. I guess the problem it is much of a murky area to 'win' jungle.

At least we get to see NA and EU throwdown tonight. I think they're not quite in the league of the other teams, I mean both did get shutout.

  • posted a message on VI - E not worth maxing out?

As a jungler, I go E>W>Q>E on clear, then I proceed to max Q with E being second priority. I see it as her W is good enough at Rank 1 while the other skills get a lot of benefit from leveling them up.

As someone summed of Vi as for maxing what first; people who max Q want mobility, people who max W want greater sustained damage, and people who max E want burst aoe damage. If played correctly, she has variable playstyles.

I mean don't get me wrong, they were awesome last night and I plan to watch them again tonight but what did they have to do with jungling?

Also, they were super enjoyable to watch, especially Saint when he pulled out the Donger and had a super close match. What do you guys think?

In other news, the 2v2 is fantastic and really is a good simulation of a real bottom lane. IMO.

I honestly think Lee Sin is super underrated, every game I play I save so many people. He doesn't kill a lot but his protection abilities and utility is really great for engagements.

Although, I just go 0/21/9 and counter build tanky with maybe a damage item after my core defenses while focusing on keeping everyone alive. :D

Wow, just nerf everything I like in the game.

It's also pretty classy that Hecarim just went on sale, got disabled, and now he and his items are nerfed into the ground. You showed me for spending RP.

As I see so far, since you didn't name the fifth champion, you have no initiate outside of Flash + Ult Galio or Flash + Ult Sona and that puts a lot of pressure on them to nail them. Also, as good as the champions are, it's the players that matter. I've had many games where I look at our team comp and think we'll stomp but end up losing.

I like the idea of rushing Elder Lizard, getting boots 5 with homeguard early, Sheen, then spirit Visage the finish IBG. Unfortantely a 10% CDR is wasted.

I know Hecarim is a super situational build jungler, but those above I would consider his 'core' items that essentially can work everywhere. It's nice to see I wasn't way off.

Also, I've been running Flat AD/Armor Pen Marks (6/3), Flat Armor Seals, Scaling Magic Resist Glyphs, and Movement Speed Quints with a 9/21/0 mastery page. Is this optimal?
