Why is there no link to the thread in which the queue dodge penalties are discussed? I would really like to see how the discussion develops.

I think blaze brought it to mlg, where they beheaded the giant that was tsm at that point. I did not follow competitive botlane as much, because I am probably the worst botlaner in the history of botlaners and thus shun the lane, but I feel like she gained more and more popularity from that point on and with ad carries not having to start boots pots it could be, that her poke becomes more deadly and thus the character itself gets a slight boost of power, which puts her back into the spotlight.

Also lategame got buffed and from what I can tell she has a pretty decent lategame for being so good early. So probably the mix between good early and good late is what made her more popular. And with the meta shifting to towers rather than championkills her range becomes more and more significant.

Black Cleaver just gives everything VI wants. Damage, armorpen, health, cdr AND she has two aoe physical damage spells. One of which she can activate twice. You are right wriggles is probably better. I haven't played her that often yet and I don't know how good her base values actually are and if I can get away with building sightstone or if the 1.3k gold are too much delay for real items...

    Hello everyone,

With VI released I want to know your first impressions on how to build her. She has AD Scalings on every single ability, but her passive, which has health scaling. Her Abilities have a pretty high cooldown and she is a frontliner.

I can't decide, if I wanna go wriggles or spirit stone. She does have an AS steroid, but with sightstone I could go for the ancient golem, since I try to build mobility boots on every jungler, but then again: If you build VI tanky, it is probably good, if the enemy blows their cc on you.

Some other good Items could be:
Straight up tank items like Warmogs and Randuins.
Black Cleaver, (Every ability deals physical. Pretty solid and probably core Item)
Zeke's?, (You obviously don't buy all these CDR Items, but if you don't go wriggles, some lifesteal could be appreciated)
Iceborn Gauntlets, (She has trouble sticking to people so slows are awesome. Also Armor and CDR fit her kit pretty good I think)
Last Whisper: (If you get fed might as well buy more damage, although I would probably buy it pretty late)
Shurelyas, (She is all about hard initiation shurelyas would complement that. CDR again: Pretty good)

I would probably go for boots 5 and the spirit stone/Wriggles early, then maybe sightstone, or rush cleaver. Then buy defense and maybe if the game lasts that long a last whisper to keep up with the damage.

Would like to hear your opinions on building her. Especially on the spirit stone/wriggles thing

I played Sejuani a few times since I made this thread and have yet to have a really bad game with her. Even against Lee Sin who invaded me quite a lot I did good. I just warded properly, got the camps I can upon respawn, ganked a lot and in the end outpaced him, since her ganks and clearing are so powerful. Against agressive junglers you do have some problems early, but in the end: You don't get killed that easily due to q and slow and maybe even ult, and come lategame you are way more useful, than for instance lee sin.

I don't know how you play, but I would guess your Micro is pretty good, but you lack "macroskills" if you will.

This is often something you don't realize while playing, but it has a tremendous effect on your odds in winning. Watch some replays of games that didn't go too well and specifically look where you are at what given time. Look where your team moves and where the enemies are. If you are really serious make notes and do this for a few games, look through your notes and identify your most common mistakes. You DO make mistakes, there is no doubt about it. Not dying often must not mean you play better, than your teammates overall. You could make mistakes on a macrolevel, just don't fight often enough.

If you are truly higher elo, than your number value, you would probably win every lane. Try to snowball from there. If you have dominance on toplane, try taking the enemy jungle, if you see their jungler bot or gank mid from time to time.

You could do the same to Amumu or fiddlesticks tbh. When I jungle Sejuani I have full life, when entering the red side of my jungle and have a gapcloser on my q. (although admittadely(or however its spelled) I usually use it to get to wraiths over the wall.

edit: Or to redbuff for that matter

Yeah I was making this post in the light of the redpost gekkos mentioned. Appearantly she is recieving a rework. She has no duelling power, but what tank-jungler has duelling power? She is pretty fragile, but with the new jungle items that (to me up until now) is a problem of the past. With everyone's ass being kicked by the new jungle Sejuani is holding her own pretty good if you ask me.

And I just compared her to shyvana in the light of popularity. If you pick shyvana in the jungle, you won't be second guessed for it. With Sejuani it is almost as bad as picking Karma sometimes.

    Hey guys,

I recently picked up sejuani into my champion roster and even tho I was disappointed in her in season 2, I have to say: She really picked up in the s3 jungle. Her passive still is pretty laughable, especially since it gets completely removed by garens decisive strike, and doesn't even apply through Master Yi's Highlander, not granting her bonus damage, nor the ability to cast permafrost, but her kit overall just makes her feel smooth and when leveling w up a few points, pretty fast in the jungle too. You build her 100% tank and still buff up your damage.

So I don't play on a very high level. I pretty much only play normals and there I am probably around an equivalent of 1.5k or something. I don't run into any blatantly obvious problems she has in the new jungle. I didn't have too many games with her yet, so it could be, that I am just not experienced enough, but so far I feel going machete, upgrading it to spirit stone pretty early into boots 5 and a ruby sightstone works out perfectly, rounding the build up with more health items like shurelyas, locket, spirit of the ancient golem or straight up warmogs. (I use cdr quints and blues, armor seals and mpen reds)

So I guess my question is: Why does Sejuani need a rework? I personally find her very much balanced and on par with the likes of Shyvana especially with health becoming more popular.

    Quote from ArksinSekans

What supports outclass him combined with vayne or kog? Because I honestly think he is pretty damn strong with any of those. And with nunu jungle you end up with at least 2 supports in lategame. He might be strong and annoying early on, but he lacks the transition into lategame by himself.

Even if you chose vayne or kog, jungle nunu will still be there when it matters (ie, during team fights, ganks , etc)

You forget how easy kog can trade with his insane range, the increased attackspeed and a snowball on the enemy carry/support. Even if you have a nunu in lategame or in ganks, when he jungles. You lack a "real" jungler. There is no way nunu can do everything for your team a jungle amumu does for example. You can't compare two characters per say, you need to see the whole team. If you have (for example) Oriana mid, Amumu jungle, Malphite top the best support for a kogmaw is nunu. Your team controls the enemies, while kog rains down terror from the backline. Also having a bloodboil in lane really helps a lot in terms of trading and mobility.

I think, like others pointed out, nunu actually got stronger. Just because he is not flavor of the month anymore, does not make him a weaker character.
