She's far too good at some things but poor at others.

The range on Q is far too short to make it a sustained harass spell but it's amazing at kiting enemies.
The cc on W seems far too short but it's compensated by both increasing in rank and the fact that this spell can be used to farm creeps.

E is generally your escape, so you want to keep that saved, however it starts on a really long cooldown and then goes down to something like 12 seconds, 7.2 with max CD. This is far too short for an ability that both goes in a line and deal damage AND acts as a blink on a mage with 325 base MS.

If anything, her E will be hit, it's far too strong late game.

I don't mind her being super strong late game, considering her laning phase is pretty bad. It's not the 1st time Riot makes a champ with weak early game but super strong late game (Vayne, Kog'Maw, Nasus).

her late game isn't just super strong, it's amazing. Max CDR+500+ ap makes liss a beast.

Also, if you find her laning phase too weak, set up a few ganks early.  With her E->snare>Q combo with your jungle you should be able to easily force them out.

As support i think she is like Zyra: high cc, high damage for a support (both were created to be damage dealer), less range, but stronger all-in. Her range is really THE problem, all her spells have lower or same range than a basic attack range of any adc meaning she can be poked hard trying to engage and only her ultimate is a hard cc so even when engagin she can get hited and she if far for the tankiness of a champion like Alistar (add she has no sustain). But after that she can perma-slow with Q, AoE root with W (higher duration than Zyra's), stun + AoE damage/slow with R (care: the stun is mono-targeted if used on an ennemy but the slow is AoE) so her teamfihghting is strong even without items.

I usually build classic support items on her like Shurelia, Sightstone, Bulwark or Iron Solari. But i also do some damage items like Liandry's (add slow => free damage) and Sorcerer's Boots. Same for runes: mpen red, armor yellow, mres blue, gp10 quint. But i like 21/9/0 or 21/0/9 masteries to all-in in lane and do higher damage.

how about you just don't build her support, and you play her mid/top.

They can usually tell by the types of items/champs you buy/play.

also. it does distinguish.  If you play 3s it does say twisted treeline.  And I'm pretty sure it says ranked next to it if it is indeed ranked.

how should they be able to tell if you are playing soloq or premade rankeds just by looking at the champ or the items?

    different items in 3s/5s.

grez's lanter, sanguine blades, wooglets, etc.  Since most champs that you play in 3s get 1 of those 3 items anyways.

but the ginourmous ammount of smurfs its actually a big problem, imo. even in normals.

i created a smurf account to help a friend starting to play and only played support with him in the same lane and in pretty much every game there is a guy calling everybody noob because, well, they are low level and cant play that well, but its perfectly normal, and that really pisses me of, because new players have the right to be new players

    no, they don't.

Let's straighten this out.  I'm a smurf, and I'm proud of it, but I don't go around telling new people to uninstall or call them shit unless I can tell that they're obviously smurfing aswell.

You want uncounterable go with Kayle. Kayle counters anyone melee(that slow is so absurdly long) and assassins especially with her ult. Plus worse case scenario she can ranged farm and she has her ult and heal so there's no way in hell you're gonna kill her 1v1 even if you do get her low.

it's pretty easy, just gotta play it right.

Karthus' Defile - 110 + 2.5Ap Ratop AoE Damage per second, continues for 7 seconds after death.

Kha'Zix's Leap - Initiate, escape, and reset on kill/assist with 205 + .8 AD Ratio

    Nasus's Wither - 95% slow... really?

Nidalee's Pounce - incredibly short CD mini flash

    Rumble's Flamespitter - holy hitboxes

Thresh's Dark Passage - Shield, escape, initiation, soul harvesting. Game changing.

Vladamir's Transfusion - ranged poke/lifesteal - the reason why Morello hates vlad (the reason why vlad is the most toxic champ in League).

    fixed it for you.

    Quote from D00meriksen »

Kayle used to be a great ad carry. However, she was played top lane, because her bullying potential on melee was so great.

Then Riot decided, that Ap Kayle needed to be a thing and they buffed her E. With season 3 she became too strong and they completely removed her 10% damage steroid on Q.

The major strength of ad Kayle was the high crits on her Q target and tank shredding power.
The major strength on jungle Kayle was her stronger Smite and her 4 second slow at her level 2 ganks..

Because AP Kayle was too good, AD Kayle had to die. I'm still really mad about this.

There is no reason to play ad Kayle anymore, unless you are going solo top and play against a match-up you can bully around.

on-hit kayle was and still is 100x better imo.

  • posted a message on When to destroy towers in laning phase

ALWAYS kill the tower.  No exceptions.  There are literally no downsides to it.

If you continue to push after killing a tower you open yourself up to ganks.

You also lose the ability to deny your opponent farm at their tower - in a lane that you're dominating, you could create a large gold advantage over the opposing laner by forcing them to last-hit at their tower.

So, pushing the tower without thinking can allow your enemy an opportunity to catch up both by farming and by getting kills from the ganks that'll soon head your way. Saying "just ward correctly" is silly - if wards completely countered ganks, nobody would ever die to ganks. But that's not the case, is it?

that's why you go and pressure another lane while they freeze and deny that lane their cs and take another turret.  If you do it well enough you can snowball a few turrets+a dragon or two.

So new to Fizz, having loads of fun.

But now I want to try something different.. I have seen tons of the same build rush sheen --> Lichbane

what about rushing Malady, liandry's torment, rylai's, then do lichbane and deathcap

the splash with the dot could be devastation.

    any thoughts or ideas

    I don't know why you'd get malady, liandry's or rylai's before a lichbane/rabadon's.  Those 2 are fizz's core, don't neglect them till the end.
