He has very high mobility though (especially with Furor enchantment), and effective use of Shrooms can act as escapes. But even then, he has some health from Liandry's Torment and can switch the Nashor's out for a more survivability oriented item and still have 2 AA's per second with Berserker's Greaves.

EDIT: I'm not saying he isn't squishy/killable. I'm saying that he has the option to be a bit tankier without losing a lot of his damage, and can be safer than other APs.

So we all saw it coming. Malady buff, Runaan's Hurricane. There certainly was a storm coming. Suddenly, there's also the Spellsword mastery, Liandry's Torment, Furor enchantment, etc. AP Teemo has arguably benefited more from S3 changes than any other champion, meta changes yet to be accounted for.

His Noxious Traps deal 10% of your current health with Liandry's Torment, on top of their total 600 and 0.8 AP scaling. His AA's will be doing 65 and 0.55 of his AP with Malady and Spellsword, with and additional 120 and 0.4 AP scaling DoT over 4 seconds after he stops AA'ing you. That is a total of 0.95 scaling on a single AA. On top of this, he can ignore 30 and shred a further 28 MR with just Liandry's Torment, Malady and Sorcerer's Shoes, and with Furor enchanted Sorcerer's Shoes, he can have a constant 12% bonus MS on top of his Move Quick.

Then, adding in Runaan's Hurricane, he can deal that 0.95 scaling damage to up to 3 targets, with 1.881 AS, nearly 2 attacks per second (although multiple attacks will only use 0.55 scaling, with and additional 0.1 scaling damage every second). With a full build incorporating a Nashor's Tooth as well, he will be doing 2 attacks per second, with a third every ~5 seconds (2.226 AS). That is 1.2 AP scaling of 390 (468) to up to 3 champions every second, using nothing but AA and without his Camouflage bonus.

His Blinding dart does 572 magic damage every 8 seconds and if you step on a trap you will be dealt 912 + 10% of your current health. He can have up to 45 on the map at a time. These calculations are done using ONLY 1 possible item build (may not be maximising damage, its one I came up with off the top of my head) and do not include runes or any mastery other than Spellsword.

So, my rant is done, I simply wish to vent, respond as you will.

Did you mean to reply to my post, or are we just randomly on the same topic?

It used to be a niche item because of it's build path, not its stats. A lot of bruisers still love the Crit from TriForce. Also, Atmog's was so widely used that it got nerfed. If a champion would now be 'forced' to go for an Atma's (or even an Executioner's) in order to snowball their lane, I don't see too many that would complain. I concede that it's much more niche than HoG, but I don't think it's so niche as to stop it from being a problem.

Damn, did they HAVE to nerf the GP10 side of Avarice blade so much. I really want to be able to use it on my support Ashe without having to steal CS. Doesn't this also work against the Idea that it can work as a buffer for not getting CS because you've been pushed out of lane? I forsee it being a HoG case, snowballing lanes further instead of doing it's job. If the bonus gold on kill is making it too powerful then I suggest that be nerfed slightly instead of the other way around. A bonus 1 gold per minion is still good.

I think you bash on Muramana/Seraph's Embrace a bit more than is justified, specifically in the Seraph's Embrace section, because you say you'd be better off buying some MR. The whole point of the 2 items that they come freely once you completely stack the Tear. They're free upgrades and you end up saying that they shouldn't be gotten unless you were getting the Manamune/Archangel's Staff anyway, but their point is specifically to reward the completion of these items s that champs already getting them wouldn't feel as bad for it.

Huge buff to mana tanks anyway.

It's been mentioned a lot already, but support Ashe is something I want to come back to because of indirect buffs with the item changes. Avarice blade was core on Ashe for faster passive proccing, and it now builds into Executioner's for an excellent counter to sustain lanes. Her high range also makes Pickpocket mastery absolutely brilliant. Eleisa's Miracle change is great since she tends to take Clairvoyance. Sightstone is better for her than most other supports because she really needs that extra gold more than other more viable 0 CS supports. Zeke's is sort of an improvment since she benefits from AD better than AS.

Also, you can get a second Avarice blade, and if the game goes on long enough you can build it into Atma's with all the health from support items. She has a great farming steroid, so if you can get a bit of farm when people are rounding out their builds you can catch up easier.

Essentially, she has 2 roles, Vision and/or peeling for the carry, which are 2 areas that have been buffed most. I can see her becoming a bit more popular.

EDIT: for a few of the same reasons (mainly avarice blade buffs) GP support is also getting better.

That's your AP though, who's minions arrive fastest, they'll still throw a nuke in and leave, what will become more common will be top/bottom lane sticking around to help tank because they have more time before creeps get to lane.

I saw it, my point is he uses offense as the best defense (admittedly he does have higher base stats, I'm not saying that she'll take less damage than him), but she also has a stun her disposal.

Also, to elaborate on her leashing, she's ranged so won't actually be taking as much damage when provided a leash but will still be doing more damage, meaning the loss of armor from E is less important, and then when at level 2 after leash she'll be able to take it for when she'll be tanking full damage from minions.

Yes, I am aware, but tell me, how did your Darius clear go, with no sustain, just damage? The fact is you have a stun to protect yourself that you can build up prior to engaging the camps.

All I'm saying is that you had so little damage in return for some defense. You also had NO leash on Blue but a leash on wolves, the least likely event to happen from my experience.
