Every single champion. I shit you not. There's only soft counters and "checks" in LoL. A hard counter utterly counters every good bit about a champion, which simply doesnt exist here.

A kill on a support isn't bad, no. Especially not early in the game, when you can make good use of it, get that early GP/10 or Sightstone so you can begin snowballing that passive gold as soon as possible. But even still, if you can CHOOSE, the gold should go to any other member of the team.
A support accidentally getting kills? Could be worse, and sure beats noone getting the kill because people are holding back.
But a support actively going for the kills? Or being proud about their kills? No sir, this is a bad thing. The whole point of being a support, is to have someone who can function with as little gold as possible so the other teammembers (ADC specifically) can basically get an extra person's worth of gold to make themselves more powerful. So going 8/0/x on a support is a very, very bad thing, since supports can simply do less with those excess kills than a carry or even jungler could.
Just saying.

Yeah. And then you get to fling yourself for much further than you ever couldve ran for 1 second. Plus it'll knock them for a bit. It's like Vi's Q in that the drawback easily outweighs the distance you cover if you use it at it's sweet spot.

Lulu didn't have a vacuum sealed kit. She had a bunch of seemingly random support abilities, all meshed together, old school style. Plus she's the quirkiest champ in the game! Ziggs comes pretty close too. While I agree with Hashinshin that newer champions have synergy within the kit, I would argue that the OLD style of champion building was just a remnant of DotA style design. LoL got more streamlined in how it was played (What people like to call the "meta".), and so did champions! But to say it's succumbed to modern realism.. I disagree. Zac himself is pretty quirky and plain weird, and then there's champs like Lulu, Ziggs, Volibear, DRAAAAVEN, Fizz, Rumble, Trundle and Wukong. Not only do most of those champs (Rumble and Draaaaven excluded) have an "all over the place" kit, they're all quirky and weird and funny in their own way!
