Oh, so many new replies!I'm currently experimenting with Kayle, Nasus and Fiddlesticks in Normals, but I'm still playing Maokai for the most part in rankeds. Yet, I can't shake the feeling of not being able to carry my team when I play him since some games simply go out of my control whenever my team doesn't follow up on my initiates. (And yes, even when I pinged and all, they still didn't follow up properly)

Hecarim, Jarvan and Kayle are in the process of being experimented with now, though, I have yet to farm up IP for Hecarim.

I don't really have issues with laning, but whenever I'm top, I feel like I can't contribute much to the team except for denying their top player's farm, killing him - since the hot spots are usually around bot, I guess taking Teleport in case I need to join in on a possible gank badly?

Oh, P.S. Anyone here playing on EUW?

Misticalthorn, you're making me want to buy Jarvan so badly, haha.He already sounds amazing in theory, I saw Stonewall play Stonewall and I think that I could learn a lot more about jungling if I pick Jarvan.

vidda1, Support is my secondary role as well, but I'm torn on my third one. Mid or top, but I guess I could jungle most of the heroes I can play top as well, anyways, so that's a closer contender.
Hecarim? I heard a lot of good things about him and apparently he has a strong late game as well, I might try it out during a F2P week!

I recently got LoLReplay and will use it to find my own mistakes and ways to improve my gameplay.
Thanks for the general tips, I read a lot of those quite a few times, but sometimes I forget about a few in the heat of the battle.

To be honest, I've given up on Shyvana as she doesn't bring me any further - at least not in SQ where everyone is playing "their own game".
I run 9/21/0 on Xin Zhao as well, but I was always unsure about his build and simply built Wriggle/Merc's + Phage/Hexdrinker (situational), but I got torn apart mid-game. ):

    Hello, Reign of Gaming community!

Since I picked up League again in the S3 pre-season, I've been trying to get back into the game and master the role of jungling since that's what I feel most comfortable and fun playing.
To further improve my gameplay, I started playing solo (sometimes duo) ranked, but my results have been various as I sometimes feel that I can not do much when there are only overextended lanes or when everything is getting out of my "control" and the enemies simply snowball into victory. Before the recent League change, I was dropping and climbing between 1.1-1.3k ELO.

First off, I wanted to list what kind of junglers I have and I would appreciate if you could give me some piece of advice and judge their Solo Queue viability.
I will exclude Amumu and Malphite since those are permanently banned at my current ELO.

    The junglers I have:
+ Shyvana (Counter-jungling/Tank): I always loved playing Shyvana, but it seems like I can't really do much for my team in terms of ganking (Her ganks feel subpar and mostly simply apply the pressure of wasting the enemy's summoner - which doesn't feel like it does much at my current ELO.) On top of that, counterjungling doesn't really seem to do much either, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong?

+ Maokai (Ganker/Initiator/Tank): He's insanely fun to play and a force to be reckoned with ... until mid/late-game as my own damage falls off. I'm not sure whether it's the inability of Maokai to carry, the fact that no one ever stands in my ultimate (they prefer to walk out of it) or because I can't really secure Dragon without teammates as I don't build Wriggle, but in most Solo Queue scenarios, I can't simply lead my team to victory as Maokai. Yet, he feels like my safest jungler.

+ Nocturne (Ganker/Carry/Off-Tank): Nocturne feels hit or miss. I either get a good early game going or I will be struggling the rest of the game. I'm not sure if it's Nocturne's nature but it feels very hard to get back once you screwed up early game through e.g. a death. I've tried carry and tanky builds on Nocturne, and I had greater success with the more tanky ones. I'm well-aware of the fact that my Paranoia ganks could be better in some cases and that I sometimes am too greedy when playing him.

+ Olaf (Off-Tank): The viking has led me to great success in quite a few matches. I personally hesitate to pick him as a jungler in SQ since I feel that my team will be lacking some sort of real tank and CC whenever I pick him. Despite the recent nerfs, I still think that Olaf has a great place in the jungle.

+ Xin Zhao (Ganker/Off-Tank): As much as I adore Xin, I simply can't make him work. It must be either my playstyle and build on him in general (I die very easily during the early/mid-stage of the game) or that I'm completely missing the entire idea of this champion. I've been running Wriggle/Merc/Phage as a core build in most cases. Some people say that his place would be top since he doesn't get enough items through a jungler's average farm, is that correct?

These are the junglers I pick most of the time. I have Fiddlesticks, Kayle and Nunu as well, but I do not feel comfortable with the squishy Fiddle (yet) and I'm not sure whether Kayle is a good jungler pick (seen it a few times and it worked, but what do normal/low ELO games say, anyways?). Nunu seems like he is better suited as a support.

Oh, before I forget, I have a few more questions.
    1. Another issue to me is that I would like to have a secondary role as I can't always jungle. Support is fine with me, ADC I can't play for the life of me. So, it's between top and mid, what do you think would be better to adapt to? (I'm a terrible laner.)
    2. I have enough IP (6.3k) to buy a new Jungler, but I'm not really sure which one. Any advice?
    3. Should I play champs with good early, mid or late game?

Sorry for the wall of text.
I'm looking forward to your responses!

    Sincerely,
    Endzweck (EUW)
