At the end of the day season 1 and 2 were 300 resist at 3000 health (12K EHP) and now in season 3 we've got 200 resist with 4000 health (12k EHP) not quit the dramatic shift everyone's been throwing around. It's not tankyness that took a hit but rather sustain.

The formula for both is the same so I'm just going to say resist.

Damage reduction = resist / (resist+100)

So lets throw some numbers in

50...... (50/150) = 33% reduction
100..... (100/200) = 50% reduction
300..... (300/400) = 75% reduction

A short Hand way of figuring out how tanky someone is, is EHP = (resist + 100)(health)

If someone has 200 armor and 3000 HP that's

(200+100)(3000) = 9000EHP

Resist is applied to shields!

It's in plain text right in front of your face "LAST RESORT" not everyone can be reasoned with its a fact of life especially over the Internet. And with a time constraint to top it all off, it's not going to happen EVERY time you need a plan B.
