I know right? I always felt Rammus was strong in Season 3 thanks to the addition of Mobility Boots+Homeguard combo meaning you can easily can anywhere across the map. Plus he's like Fiddlesticks in a sense that you just need 2 levels in W to clear and then you can max out your taunt and fear for strong ganks seeing how they last 3 seconds.

I still think support Nunu with a dash of AP is till good to go in the jungle and some wards to counter jungle efficiently. Especially items like Twin Shadows and the sorts. But he does have a somewhat promising Attack Speed Bruiser side and probably going to wait till the Wit's End change (being able to steal enemies MR) before I start theory-crafting and testing stuff out in practice games, especially that Lizard buff of 1% of Max HP converted to True damage, with a Spirit of the Elder Lizard seems really promising.

Would love to see a Team battle Leona seeing how she is Tier 1 for Tank Junglers (doesn't mean I'm saying anything is wrong, it's just like I felt her clearing is slow, something like Jungle Alistar, great ganks, lackluster clearing.), and those Nunu buffs are really good now, especially the golems since they grant you an extra 10% HP and also I believe a Rioter said that you don't need to eat the minion, you just need to consume it before you kill it to get the buff.
The new proposed clearing times also interest me as well, seeing how everything is getting bumped to 1:55 and more XP for Blue and Red. Time to play Nunu some more now and stealing buffs everyday.

posted a message on How did you find your main champion ?Posted in: Ask the Pros
My main is currently Renekton, but when I first started the game, I saw a certain dog (Nasus) in the store who was for 1350 IP and sounded like he had an OP kit and unlimited damage potential. Played him up to level 10 and went and instantly bought some RP to buy the Dreadknight Nasus & and his brother Renekton (which I was surprised they were brothers). Sucked with him and just played my favourite dog till level 30, till Nasus top started to seem like a weak early pick, which I started to learn Renekton from players like Shampu, and ever since loved them both to the point of getting all of Renekton's skins (Nasus is sexy enough with Dreadknight).
Maybe it was the Egyptian theme those guys had like Anubis (Nasus) and Sobek (Renekton), and maybe in the future Riot can make another one join the family such as Khepri (making him a giant, humanoid beetle (tank), something like Kha'zix), Bastet (who doesn't like cats) or Horus or Ra (as our typical bird champs), since it was stated in Nasus's lore that he had other brothers and sisters.

They're more like nerfs as well, by putting the slow on W and also making Q and R more of an appeal, they want to make people less likely evolve W now, since now the only benefit from evolving it is just getting 3 shots instead of 1. Evolved Q was obvious since the only benefit you get from it is when the target is isolated, so they nerfed some of the power and allowed it to do missing health % regardless of isolation or not, and R is to help compete it against W.
Simply Riot wants people to less likely evolve W now, since that's where his strong poking comes from.

To be honest it's not that much of an issue, but you know I'd like it at least he'd retain 'some' of his damage after his shield goes down, since it goes down pretty quickly, but seeing how Riot wanted Nautilius's Shield to be a Risk/Reward thing, that you focus him, you make him lose his damage but also wasted efforts on focusing a tank, I can't really complain much.
Maybe because in a previous match, my whole team died and the other team died except their really low HP Warwick, as opposed to me siting at 1/2 Health, and unable to kill him since he just teared through my shield and started life gaining from me, that we both backed off since we where both low and paranoid since it was 45 mins in that game, is probably why I'm kind of angry (we still won it though).

But seriously with other nerfs aside, why are they nerfing Nautilius? He already has bad jungle clearing and dueling, sure it maybe a buff for the first few levels, but at rank 5 you lose 30 damage which you don't usually increase since you'd rather buy Health on him. I'd understand if they allowed him to keep the damage for a bit if the shield breaks early but this is ridiculous.

At least it's more of an incentive to buy it on Fizz, which I like to usually buy for the 20% CDR.

posted a message on Let's talk about split-push.Posted in: General Discussions
It actually depends on the role you're playing and also the type of split pusher. Think of split pushing like a bar. On one end you have 'Safe' and the other end you have 'Speed'. Different Champions with split pushing capabilities are placed somewhere along the bar. Some sacrifice speed for safety, which is why Shen is the safest split pusher, but yet he isn't going to be that devil like Master Yi charging along your tower trying to split push & backdoor all day.
As a strategy, it won't work well unless there is also another split pushing going along as well, such as top and bot being pushed at the same time, which the enemy team either has to send other champions to deal with them, the whole team, or ignore them and punish them by taking an objective (Baron etc.) or a tower/inhibitor if they aren't fast enough. Also like you said it's very important to also have a champion with zoning & siege/defensive abilities. Anivia is a good example as you stated since she can protect towers easily & punish champions who are near with her Wall, stun and other skills. But also you need champions who can get rid of minions before they reach the tower, or when pushing, which is why Janna as an AP champ was popular some time ago.
My personal favorite split pushers are Sivir & Quinn on the AD side of the department. Sivir can easily clear waves with her Boomerang & follow it up with Ricochet, minions are gone instantly, which is great for split pushing or preventing minions from reaching your tower when a siege breaks out. Still don't get why people don't like, she sits at a nice win rate currently, yet she lacks popularity. Maybe because LOL made the standard AD Carry range of 550, that people frown on Sivir that she has 500 (pfft she had 425 before and no one ever complained), I blame powercreeping for that.
As for Quinn, she isn't exactly fast, yet she has mobility in a sense her ultimate grants her 80% Attack Speed and 100% Movement speed at max rank so you can understand where I'm getting at. Hope this some what helps. :P

They should really have fixed jumping ages ago. There's nothing more frustrating than being unable to jump over a Teemo's shroom, Nidalee's & Caitlyn's traps and didn't really make sense on why can't you jump over them. Just hope they implement it with other champions other than Tristana, such as Jax & the Leap Squad etc.
