Lyte never fails to go too in depth in each of his answers, but I'm impressed, there was a one line answer from him this time round

Hmmm would another leona proc another leona mark? If they get to you, you'd die before making a move + good luck bursting through 5 leonas
5 Panths or TFs all with tele, none of your towers are safe.
Also as soon as lvl 6 rolls round 5 trynd, at least one tower will fall

My reason for dislike of these threads is that yes they are true but that's not the reason you may be upset, it's that you have lost early game control and have to rely on the lanes to not snowball. No matter how well you farm in the new jungle if any of the enemy lanes snowballed and yours didn't the jungler who is already behind reverse snowballs despite not doing anything as they force fights.

Your runes are pretty standard for an attack dmg or bruiser type champion, if you want to mix it up swap out about three of the AS runes for flat AD.
Non-bruiser types are possible at lower elo, shaco can completely stomp lower elo play, on the other end rammus is exceptionally good as he just pushes towers the entire game.
As for elise, yes she can jungle, it's just that she is better in the lane as there isn't a terrible lot of gold in the jungle, that being said she can gank reasonably well and snowball the lanes.

Just wondering how people have been getting on with Zilean in the support role. Has he got a solid footing there now or is he still niche/better mid

So I can get the impression that 3 actives with SS is a good number of actives, all being situational. Will try to keep this in mind.
I would like more passive items from riot tough. As it stands supports already have so many different ways to use there abilities they don't need added confusion. As it stands there are 7 active items: TS, SoTI, Shuryleas, Randuins, Mikaels, locket and Banner; which a support could get but only 5 passive: WOTA, FH, Abyssal, Zekes, and bulwark; which are commonly bought by other team members (with the exception of zekes)

So currently I have this issue where I end up buying 4 active items, sightstone and boots as a support. This leads to indecision as I effectively have 8 abilites (or more if I am someone like lulu). So I want to know a good number of active to passive item ratio.
Currently I buy shard, twin shadows, locket and Shurelyias (NB I am part of the low elo crowd so games do typically allow me to get this built)

posted a message on Riot's current issue with melee and what they're trying to fix.Posted in: hashinshin
I'm not sure which side Hash is going at.
My thoughts are that all of the ranged carries have escape mechanics whereas not all of the melee characters have mechanics to catch ranged characters without already catching them and have trouble sticking to them because of the types of items the two different types buy(see Nasus, Cho, Darius, Malph without ult, Morde, Olaf and Garen to some extent, Shyv without ult, singed, Skarner, Trundle, voli, ww without ult and yorick but he spams harass instead)
Whereas all ad carries either have some dash or soft cc, Ashe is slows and stun, Corki has long range dash, Ez is the hardest carry to catch especially after he upgrades his sheen, Graves has a dash and a slow, Kog has his goo which is speed up/slow, Draven has his knock aside/mini-snare, sivir has high mobilty, MF has aoe slow and when free is uncatchable. Trist has knockback and jump, same with vayne.
Urgot is a special case but he has good range and a shield.
However I like the design of Varus, he has his ult for a snare but its a skillshot which is up only so often but enough range to do damage before melee can catch him
Also items are heavily skewed in favor of kiting. PD, SS, Zephyr. whereas the items that slow you either have to have on range ability or be in melee.

Great article, one thing to note though is when you should switch items (i.e. sell them) because they taking up space. I'm only saying this as I play in a low enough bracket that starting as support you have 4 slots filled off the bat and generally 5 after your first back (wards, flask, ss, boots and biscuit or explorers sometimes both). After that you need to know when is the right time to open a slot for an item which will be more helpful.
