You do have a good point sir. Benegesserit does seem to be possessed of unusual idiocy and complaining, I daresay even greater than Hashinshin. He must have been a Lanewick main and has never gotten over his bitter feelings.

As most others have said, we LOVE the bottom section where you explained you jungle picks and why. Very insightful. Thank you Stonewall008 for all your hard work!
I hadn't quite thought of it this way, but you're right. Good post, clear, focused, to the point, no whining or random hyberbole. Yes, you are indeed correct that ability focused melee assassins essentially function as AD Carries. Good point. I wonder if they will go back and tweak Tryndamere or Yi to better reflect this?
"As for Fort Pot nerf, let it burn in hell. Level 2 all in setups on Riven/Kha'zix/Renekton with Fort Port were so toxic to play against, and caused more lane snowballing than anything."
^ Here here! My thoughts exactly.
It's not uneducated. I'd say it should be pretty damn obvious why not to build a Catalyst. If you're being serious, YOU are uneducated indeed. It seems more likely that you're trolling, or just trying to nitpick to make yourself look like a badass.
Catalyst is extremely expensive for what it gives. What BRUISER wants a bunch of health and mana? Furthermore, the passive is quite bad in the jungle. If you're fighting jungle monsters, do you *really* need that big HP and Mana restore on level up? You aren't laning against an opponent and constantly taking damage and expending mana. Sure, you might get lucky and level up during a tower dive, but it's a bunch of money spent on stats you don't need. As the article proves, Locket, Ancient Golem or Aegis are all more effective health items. What if you're playing a jungler that does need health and mana regen? If you're not a dumbass, you're going to be sitting on a Spirit Stone, which gives 14 HP5 and 7 MP5. You also have blue buff on your first and maybe 2nd clears to further help with mana regen. The item is simply inferior to other health options by itself, and. . .
. . . the last big reason you should never buy a Catalyst with an AD bruiser in the jungle is that it doesn't turn into anything you want. A Rod of Ages is expensive and useless on an AD jungler; you don't need 60 AP, or the level up passive to stay in lane against a lot of harass. Bruisers do want health, but they do not want a massive 650 mana. What bruiser ever needs that much mana? No one. And 900-1300 gold of the gold you spend on Rod of Ages is spent on mana. You simply do not need it.
Banshee's Veil is better, but still not a good pick up most of the time. The stats are ok, but the Spell Shield is easily popped by pretty much anything. As a AD BRUISER (you did read the article right?), . . . unless you're pulling some shit like Jungle Urgot (it's terrible. Never try it), you are MELEE. To do anything in combat you're going to be in melee range, and that Banshee's Veil is going to be instantly popped by some random low cooldown poke spell. You want health and magic resist? Buy fucking Bulwark for nearly the same price; it gives way better personal stats for a jungler, is built from small pieces, and it gives a big resistance and regen boost to your whole team (and minions for that matter).
I'm still pretty blown away that you even asked why you shouldn't buy catalyst on an AD bruiser.
Sarcasm bro. Read the article again. Notice the giant bolded line "Gentleman Gustaf, you sound a little bit sarcastic; what do you REALLY think?"
Yah. . . . Baywire. . . you're an idiot. At the very best, you're not reading carefully.
Just to disprove the odd naysayer who happens to stalk my posts. . .I actually have no complaints for this article.
In the odd event that Hashinshin himself reads this post, here's what I have to say. Well done! This article is much more to the point that your other articles. (Even if it's 3 points instead of one). This article lacks the whining undertone and hyperbole common to many of your other articles. This article really stands out from your other material in quality, even if it's only 3 short points. It's obviously still a Hashinshin article with your tone and phrasing (that's who you are, that's good stuff).
^ Case in point.
Call me a dick, but I agree with GentlemanThief. ;D
