Re: Trundle - I have the same feeling about most of the sustain melees like Warwick or Irelia. If you aim to build pseudo-tanky, the natural sustain plus lifesteal should be a very big asset to a team.
I build Warwick with the intent of sticking to a target and soaking as much damage as I can. BotRK, Spirit Visage, Frozen Mallet, Runic Bulwark, and Hydra are all things I want to go for when I have innate sustain.
I think your tier list has a lot of good reasons for the placements.
Poke can be beat by all-ins or sustain.
Supports are very vital for initiating fights and strengthening sieges. (Heals are very OP imo) It doesn't seem like you value these strengths so much in this iteration for the list. After more experience, you may want to look into that when doing the next list. But otherwise good job.
Key to AP Trist: Minions
AP Trist is like AP Yi but way too dependent on minions to maximize burst.
Minions are necessary to poke for much of the early game. And a minion wave + rocket jump could easily double your damage (guesstimating). I think that it's much easier to work with AP than AD. (Think "mid or feed") People may not know how to do the ADC role imo. And the ratios don't help the situation either.
I think Gustaf was referring to an sarcastic article Hashinshin did a while back. Gustaf may have just been setting the tone for the article through the beginning after poking fun at Hashinshin. XD

I opt for the notion to add more time to champ select. Like a 2 minute pre-pick discussion.
Chances are, the jerks will be jerks regardless so help the people who want to play. No such thing as a anti-douche button will exist.
So instead of having 1 minute of people slitting each others throats, more time should ease the issue a little bit.
It they want to dive that much, someone should have to invest in getting an Ohm's Wrecker now.
1) The article is forgetting the support as a factor. A standard "adc" is worth less than a support and "adc" early game.
2) The reason why ranged adc are more powerful than a melee adc is because being at a range gives you less of a chance to get injured. (i.e. guns kill a person pretty much the same way a knife would with the difference that the assailant is at a distance.)
3) The ranged aspect allows "carries" to take objectives with less risk.
4) Ranged carries don't dominate low elo as much as you think. So a 2v1 lane doesn't affect them especially without coordination.
5) The pro scene with 1v2 lanes is having that issue is purposefully done to make sure a threat can be shut down.
6) There is a strategy where you send 2 players to murder the adc (kill lane) so you keep the said ranged adc from reaching the high damage.
7) Melee caries are stronger typically than ranged carries because of the risk they have to put themselves in. (A fed Master Yi will mow anyone down faster than a fed Tristana or Ezreal most of the time)
