I think the biggest thing people are ignoring here is that dungeon finder doesn't limit you.

I've played WoW, queued up as tank for a dungeon, and saw the healer was super-geared and was like "Can I tank as boomkin?" and we yolo'd our way through the dungeon.

If I queue as ADC, and we get to champ select, and I say to my team, "Wanna play Jarvan/Leona bot?" - whatever happens happens. The biggest thing is it takes the pressure off people raging about lanes, or two people picking the same lane, or people not communicating.


tl;dr - instead of ENFORCING the meta this DEFAULTS to the meta. i.e. unless your team agrees in champ select to play some new meta-breaking yolo-strat, you can rely on having a 'normal' game

One thing people need to remember for smiteless is to actually tank a little or do a LOT of damage to the blue buff. Otherwise smiteless just means the other guy hangs around and it takes LONGER to do blue than with smite and you lose loads of health.

Practice not dying.

I played a /normal/ as Mordekaiser jungle, and we had this Gold II player at ADC. I went 3/1/1 (and the one death was executed), and the enemy jungler Dr. Mundo was 0/2/0 at about 15 minutes or so. Our Gold ADC then died at bot, I don't remember if it was with or without a gank, but he just repeatedly flamed me for picking Morde because he wasn't a "viable" jungler and why did I have to troll his game.

The big part is not that your botlane are duo-queueing, I duo-queue at bot and whatever other lanes all the time, but we never say we're duo-queueing.

Do you also notice that when your 4th pick guy goes "i mid, i don't supp", he tends to be bad? It's the same thing when you get a duo going "me and sneakynoob55 bot premade" - they are just instalockers, and instalockers tend to just be bad.

When I duo, I always say, "I main jungle but I can fill whatever we need :)" and so does my friend. We often end up one of us support and one of us jungle - the roles people don't want.

In one round of their abilities with autos for 7 seconds (A pretty BS scenario but whatever, assume 60 damage per hit for botrk, no active):
Lee: Abilities: 1528, Autos: 2882 (passive up all the time, no armor target etc etc), BotRK: 108
Rengar: Abilities: 1385, Autos: 3148 (ulti used to get double Q, 100% AS buff), BotRK: 156

Totals: 
Lee: 4518
Rengar: 4689

Overall, I condone using these numbers for literally nothing. Ever. But feel free to look at the stats and stuff on the build calculator.

Skarner got like, pentanerfed.

1) They nerfed the cooldown on his shield.
2) They "fixed" his ult so you can flash out of it.
3) They nerfed philo stone/shurelyas.
4) They made the jungle beat you up more/relies on single target dps.
5) They nerfed resistances (shields less effective).

All of these affected Skarner in really bad ways. And they all hit him roughly at once.

If you want to win that game? Just take it in the ass and play on.

If you'd rather punish the guy for being an asshole (which I agree with), just leave him to 2v1. One of the reasons there are so many assholes in soloqueue is because people have to appease them or risk losing.
