They're not bad, but it's obviously not what makes them what they are and significally stronger, it's good yes, but it doesn't define them in any way nor does it feel good.

I think that the health increase on his ulti was a try to get a good melee carry of some sort, sadly they removed it to add a useless stat on a Melee carry(aspeed), aswell as rather useless on most bruisers aswell, I think if they added the health it'd be a rather beefy melee carry/fighter that would actually stand viable, but I don't see the reason behind the Aspeed.
Except it works different now, it does no longer proc liandry on every tick.
Riot have already said it is intended as a nerf.
They are pretty much going to change Shyvana a lot in the upcomming weeks.
First of all, you have to consider that the average winrate is not 50%, but closer to 45-48% because of the "loss forgiven", yes it actually does impact that much. Also, they rarely look that much on the stats of solo queue, and rather on high elo ranked 5s and on tournament, I used to main Lux at one point, and I don't know why people complain about it, she's in my opinion as well as many other opinions the best AP mid right now, if played correctly she beats almost everyone straight up, and doesn't really have any hard counter, and leaves most of them up to skill.
I think that what riot needs to do when it comes to starting items is make some cheaper items.
I liked to be able to start with elexir, because I had money for other things, maybe even another item sometimes, making it feel way more fun. Just buying an item for 400 gold and then get 2 potions does not only support passive lanes because you have no ward so you can no go and trade with them, there is also a chance that item they bought is a cloth or null mantle, or a bead, supporting passiveness in lane once again, however, when there was a bit more potions in lane, trading was something you had to do often to force them out of lane, if you didn't they'd slowly outsustain you(I'm not refering to people stacking 13 hp potions though, that was just pure toxic, but having items that allows you to buy a ward, and a couple of potions is alright really). Currently, there is only a handful of items that allows you to buy significant consumables, and it is Bead and Faerie charm, and since not all champions use either of those, it forces them to pick up a boots, sword, mantle, or cloth, and only 1 of these directly indicates aggressiveness in lane, not that it'd matter, any team above silver would react to that and call for jungler and tell him that "this scrub got no ward", and in the end it's just a passive lane again.
Good thing I got all quality skins I want already, and most of the ones I want will most likely be lowered in price.
She have been sleeper OP for ages, and then been shown in tournaments serveral times that she is indeed full of bullshit, I play lux myself and she is my main AP mid, but she is god damn bullshit and and been that for a while now.
The thing is he is viable, but he's out of flavour, no comp really needs a champion who can burst as he does, aswell with the fact that people for some reason buy Bork on him instead of good old trinity(that is actually very good in the current state). I think that the buff might get him into slight flavour, if people get used to playing him again. It's very risky buffing a champion a lot during a short amount of time so taking it very slowly like here is the right choice.
