Seriously who tells you Garen beats GP? You can kite him forever or you could just farm and out scale and there is nothing he can do to stop you.
That being said Critplank is cool but it takes so much gold. I'm still riot has killed the old cleaver, it was stupid good on GP. Honestly since Plank relies on items a lot so when Items got nerfed across the board plank got hit hard. Its kind of the same thing that happened to Ashe. Also how exatly does plank counter Shen or Ezreal?
Throwing this out there Wukong clone now properly takes monster aggro in season 3.
Global gold is incredibly small at say 22 minutes in you have only about 360 extra gold
Quality is definitely the way to go for solo queue since it can turn non-neutral picks into neutral picks, and god help them if you get a counter-pick. At the end of the day you can only bring one champion into the game you better bring your best.
Mind in competitive a breath of champions is far more valuable because counter picking is more common and team comps will be more coordinated as opposed to kind of thrown together. Generally people who can only play 2-3 champions competively get pigholed by the ban phase into playing a specific champion, and worse you can;t really build specific comps because whatever comp you run needs to function with those few champions that they play.

M5 vs Curse was my favorite game yesterday with that sick ap Yi.
I'm rooting for Curse because they've been showing really well recently, and I think they need a solid victory in another major tourney to prove they're really a top tier team.

The key difference here is that Zephyr scarfices some damage to obtain the same level of mobilty. The problem wasn't phantom dancer giveing too much movespeed it was phantom dancer giving movespeed and being the best dps item in the game bar IE.
