Yes!!!! I was looking through the comments just to see if anybody had mentioned Equilibrium. The fact that you also mentioned gunkata was also a nice touch. Such a good movie!

Download and install League of Legends. Run the game, then type in your username and password to log in. Click play, then select all of the top options; they say something like "5v5, unranked, blind pick" or something like that.

I like the idea! What needs to happen, however, is for small beauty pageants to be held across the country in which girls perform talents and model in bikinis. The winners of these pageants will then qualify to compete in a grand, all-girl LoL tournament. The members of the winning team will then be devided up amongst 5 all-male LoL teams, thus creating several of the coveted '1 girl, 4 guys' LoL teams, while also ensuring that only the highest quality of girl is being utilized.

Top and Mid: -Rumble- ... I build him as a glass cannon, and I'm extremely defensive with  him pre-ultimate. That said, he has all the tools you need to be great. His ult has a low cd, can initiate fights, does a lot of initial damage as wel as DoT, slows multiple people, and has long range. With his regular abilities you get a speed boost + shield, a ranged slow, and an AoA melee attack with good range. My runner-up is LeBlanc, who I love and dominate with, but she falls off too hard late game.

ADC: -Sivir- ... Probably not the best acd around, but she works great for me. When I'm spot-on with my spell shield, my lane sustain and survivability are excellent. Her ability to catch enemies is built into her passive. She's awesome at farming. Her ult helps everybody on your team within range, and can help you either catch somebody or escape.

Support: -Kayle- ... I like Kayle mainly for her good early damage output, but she has a decent overall kit.

Jungle: -Olaf- ... Excellent clear speed, and once you master undertow (his ax throw), he can be exceptional at ganking. Fills the tanky role lacked by many teams on solo queue.

  • posted a message on Suggestions for learning champions as a new player

Every time I want to learn a new champion, I'll go to youtube and type in "*champion name* guide 2012," so that I get the newest guides for that champion. I'll watch the full-length high-elo games and take note of what combos and item builds they use in what situations and why, as well as pay special attention to their positioning in team fights.

Next, I'll type in "mobafire *champion name*," and read the top-rated article on the champion to learn more about how he or she functions early, mid and late-game. I'll also learn a little bit about the match-ups I might be facing, and how to counter. Personally, I've started getting away from set item build orders and start to build what makes sense to me at the time, and what I need to function as a part of the team.

After that, it usually takes me anywhere from 15-20 games just playing that champion before I feel truely proficient, and until I can consistantly play well every single game.

Lastly, having somebody take you into games and teach you strategy and tactics 1 on 1 is valuable. My own personal tip is this: learn which champions you need to play passive and defensive with and who can be aggressive only once they get their ult, and which ones need to actively harass and get kills early. The most common mistakes I see are people not being patient, harassing instead getting a last hit, and ESPECIALLY pushing a lane towards the enemy tower at the start of a game; the latter problem will consistantly get you ganked early game, as well as create other problems.
