Sometimes it just happens. Alt-F4 will close the game and reopen the client, with a button to reconnect that is usually faster than waiting for it in game. If that doesn't work, resetting your router will work almost every time.

posted a message on Frame Rate IssuesPosted in: General Discussions
So, I've made a thread on the official forums about this, and it promptly died with no solution, so I figured I might as well put it somewhere people would actually reply.
I play League on a Lenovo ideapad with a core i7, 8gb of ram, and generally above average specs for a laptop. I have never had problems with frame rate in any game on it, until patch 3.6 (the ARAM patch). I played the patch on the PBE on the same laptop, and experienced no problems.
After the patch, I have massive frame rate drops during team fights, and once it starts, it seems to cycle from 172 to 6 every 2-3 minutes. Before, I was getting a steady 60, sometimes dropping as low as 40 but never worse. I can't play ARAM at all, because it gives my team a 4v5 in team fights. Its happened in SR as well.
First, has anyone else experienced anything like this? Second, does anyone know how to fix it?

Actually going to be learning to jungle with Eve, I played a lot of her back in S2 when M5 revealed her OPness and enjoyed it. With the burn build, you want to come in from behind the enemy team and start killing carries. Stonewall's vid shows it quite well.

Kennen, Jarvan/Malph, Lulu/Sona, and Miss Fortune make a great AoE comp. Have your mid learn Orianna for that one and you're golden.
A poke comp is easier to achieve with Jayce, Lux, Varus/Ezreal/Caitlyn and have your support learn Janna, as her disengage is just too strong to pass up in a poke comp.
Dive comps with Akali/Diana, Malph and Noc would also work.
What you have to do is see what you're opponent is trying to do (if they're clearly stacking defensive champions to protect a hyper carry, play a dive comp, etc.).

Grow some balls and play better.
We went on to lose the game, but for unrelated reasons.
Obvious loss because you abandoned bot.
Obvious troll is obvious.

Still makes me laugh that NA even takes part on this, they should just let the real regions give us show. NA players are only good for NA vs Brazil allstars. But meh, we will see that overhyped doublelift crushed again, always makes my day.
While I agree that NA is definitely going to get crushed again, it won't be as bad this time. NA has seen a huge improvement from the LCS, with actual innovations being made on occasion.

great damage potential. have to be able to land your Q - so much of his damage is reliant on this skill shot poke.
As a Nidalee main, Jayce's EQ is incredibly easy to land. I've been getting comments about great snipes, but Nidalee's spear moves half the speed for the same range, so it really is nothing in comparison.
I've not run into anything that really gave me trouble matchup wise yet. By far the hardest was a Kha'zix in a ranked game (They were running a no AP Kha + Talon + Vi comp, stupid assassinations of me and our ADC). Who are his hardest matchups? I would imagine Cass being difficult.

posted a message on Jayce MidPosted in: General Discussions
So for quite some time I was looking for an AD mid to add to my roster (which already included Nidalee, Fizz, Lux, TF, Ryze), and I'd settled down with Jayce. After a few days, I gave him up, just not having any luck with him.
I watched some of this game yesterday and decided to give it another shot. I won all 7 of the games I played him and carried hard the last 6, including winning a 4v5 where our top laner (and only AP) left at 10 minutes. He carries so incredibly hard with his mobility and just unbelievable damage.
So, having used him to move back to Silver from Bronze (I didn't play ranked for over a month and got dropped down) over night, I feel like he's a bit too strong. Does anyone else have experience with him? How do you guys feel about him? I know Froggen stomps solo queue with him on his stream, but does anyone else use him?

Catch this guy playing Midalee. There are 3 really strong midalee players in the LCS, those being Scarra, Link, and Froggen. Bischu makes them look like bronzies. I learned (and now main) AP Nidalee from this guy.
As far as AD Nidalee is concerned, Stanley is where to look, but I find the playstyle to be much less fun. Personal preference.
EDIT: Bronzies was an exxageration, seeing as how Bischu still isn't challenger and those three are, but watch this to see some quick plays.

Applying psychology to LoL is over-complicating a phenomenon that is, in short, a game.
It confuses the average audience, causing them to feel somewhat inferior and have no choice but to agree because they may not know better.
I prefer other posts, such as theorycrafting, and numbers games, as they are solid and backed up by real data, not on opinion alone.
So Winrar's rainbow graphs confuse less people than psychology? Mmk.
Like it or not, its a game. A game that is played by real people. People have been studied, specifically their behavior in certain situations. Not as black and white as math crafting, but just as important.
