I hope they don't screw Smite up. It's a junglers summoner, leave it alone. Geez.

Hmmm you are right, perhaps I could've done something instead of pointing out errors from others.

Those are great tips and I'll take those into thought then apply them in game.

er, blarg.  I'm not in the advice mood, so I'ma go play a ranked, make a friend, and come back in with some proper ideas and thoughts.

But for the small thought, think of your team as people, they make mistakes.  Have you ever said to yourself "Bah, there's no way Trundle can take my Nasus Jungle" during champion select, only to get slapped around by him every time you go in for a fight?  You can make mistakes, the idea here is to help eachother learn from mistakes. Is Gragas beating Akali because he counters her, or because she's building wrong?  Did he get an early lead or did he simply wait for the right moment to strike? Is she to aggressive? I he very aggressive and you're not providing protection to the lane? Can you do anything about it? Could another lane swap with her? Jayce up top could probably hold the tower, and if he's going up against a Shen he might not have much power to do anything at times.

Tons of solutions to the single problem of "Akali is losing to Gragas in lane" deal.  And that's not your major problem here!

You make good points indeed. In the Akali case yeah, I provided an early advantage to Gragas with double buff, but she had gone to base already, before my FB given to Gragas, she was tryin' to bully him, however you know Gragas, he can punish your attempts to hurt him early on.

I know it isn't the major problem, but Akali loses to Gragas early on and if she doesnt get fed. It was a hard game, had to gank every lane and that cripples me and opens the lanes up to ganks.

    Good advice.

Also taking a break isn't a bad idea at all.Go play Bioshock Infinite it's tons of fun!! Lately I've been taking a break with SMITE as well, it's a cool MOBA in beta where you play as greek gods. When I come back to League I play some normals or ARAMS with friends to remind me that it's fun. Helps me out when the game gets too annoying to handle.

Oh yeah, a dude at work sent me an invite to play SMITE, prolly I'll try that out and take some vacations from LoL.

The biggest help you can get is duo queueing. Duo queueing helps so much I can't even describe it. You can rise faster together and point out each others mistakes that you need to work on. If you have a friend that plays league of legends I HIGHLY recommend you try duo queueing with him or just ask for company here at RoG or the offical forums.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if you duo queue with someone you will also get teammates with a higher MMR than if you were to solo queue.

Alright this seems like a good sugestion indeed :)

Btw I play in EUW, summoner's name is Armellaurë, hit me up for some games hehe

I'm taking a huge break from the game, maybe I won't play again. I hate the community way too much and I cannot stand it anymore, I need a game that I enjoy and LoL is falling appart.

I feel like the game is not going to grow much in therms of creativity too.

My sincere advice, do not take the game seriously or just take a break from it. If you cannot stand the situation just leave it, let the community destroy the game, because you can't do anything to change it and seems like Riot is not taking action on that.

Well, the community is alot worst these days, I really hope it gets up on its feet. I have invested a big on the game to drop it tbh, but yeah, if it takes a large toll on me I'll take a break.

    Now you're talkin' :p Thanks

Yeah, I get that, still I get upset by some games. I get home from work, grab something to eat and play a bit, but some games give me an headache.

I guess I let myself get affected more than it should.

    Thanks :)

It was to add to the context, but that only affect a couple of minutes cause I ganked the lane and Akali got the kill on him, so yeah. Great insight from you, thank for your share.

    Hello dear RoG'ers!

I'm seeking some advice and sincere input.

Here's the situation, for the last couple of weeks I've been playing normals draft mode, I play Rankeds aswell, to learn/sharpen my champion picks/build/knowledge. I play as a jungler/support in a regular basis and whenever I'm allowed. But I think the game's really frustrating at some point, I'm a bit demotivated to be honest. I'm Bronze, currently climbing and I feel that I've improved in some aspects, know when to pick a certain champion, Stonewalls post about jungle picks is deffo a great read and helps on this issue, map awareness and decision making. If I know a thing or two I like to give an advice, to voice my opinion and I think thats important in a team game, where to work as a team is fundamental to win, COMMUNICATION = wins.

But things start to crumble right in the champ select, guys making bad picks, or simply picking a champion because he's avaiable(i.e Shen/Malph) and when you say something like(this really happened):*Enemy FP's Gragas* our mid was 3rd pick, one would think right away "Okay Mr.Gragas, you're gonna get in trouble". Our mid then picks...*drumroll* Akali to which I asked:"Are you sure to take Akali vs Gragas?" "Positive" he said, so I was like "Okay". Needless to say that she lost the lane(I had some fault here because I gave FB to Gragas), 2 barrels and B, rinse and repeat...then in a moment of epiphany and says:"WOW! I thought Akali could beat Gragas." This is just one of the many situations, I have two more to tell.

The Akali player then tells us:"Man I'm tired, sorry." Well, If I'm tired or upset, I simply don't play, or If I want to play there are other options avaiable such as ARAMs ou to play with bots. Because being tired affects your gameplay, your judgment on calls and etc, so why can't people have a bit of common sense? Why wasting 20m, minimum, of their time and the other team mates? Just to have and provide a demoralizing experience?

Other situation, first 3 teamfights my team started fights without me, was playing Sejuani, they went 4v5 and got wiped all 3 times, then I say:"Wait up for me guys, don't fight 4v5." Afterwards I went to pink ward Baron and Retreated Pinged for my team to fall back a bit and regroup with me. Right, they didn't fall back, kept pushing inner mid turret and got initiated on. Later on we get a great team fight, got inhib turret + inhibitor, then top inner was being pushed and we went there, but we were all low, so has soon the enemy team came up to defend the tower I told them that it would be better if we go back/buy and force a fight to take baron. It was the same as If you were talking to a tree, they stood there got initiated on, I was left to defend the turrets while they pushed, got 2 towers + inhib. Lost the game in the end. Why can't people listen to others? In fact, why can't people realize that being low on health/mana, pushing a tower with the enemy team with full hp coming to defend, it's a bad idea?

There are sh*tloads of 'tales' like these from anyone, I'm sure of it, but why can't people try to learn something and evolve to better players? This is a damned team game, where anyone has a 'voice', but if you share you thoughts with your team mates, requesting for help, giving a build tip or to focus, why do they get all upset and call me a "Bronze TryHard Warrior"? It gets to me, it really does, not for the insult, but from the atitude! Team games should be played as one, not individualy, yet we see this all the time, yet we see the same mistakes, people not listening to each other and providing a really bad game experience for the team mates. I am no pro, not even close, but I do try to learn the game, the champions that I'm playing to get better and to have fun! I hate to lose, I really do, but mostly when I lose games for mistakes that are normal for begginers. I know when to suck it up and "good game well played" to my opponents, I know how to lose.

How do you guys deal with this kind of "things" in the game? How can you get motivated to reach high places in ranked or even to stick up with the game?

    Sorry for the rant.
