  • posted a message on Magma Chamber - 1v1 yall!

1v1 - Bruisers and fighters will reign with an iron fist, while carries will desperately try to reach the 100 cs mark before their opponent and hope they don't get killed. Also, 1v1 monsters like Mordekaiser, AD Nidalee, Trundle and Darius will terrorize the scorched battleground.

2v2 - Still no point in picking up carries (or most supports), though we'll be seeing a lot more variety. Infamous combos like Brand+Annie and Pantheon+Xin Zhao will make the enemy duo shit themselves. Also, I predict a Malzahar+Heimerdinger combo would be overpowered as hell, with all that wave clear and kiting potential.

Leave Q at rank 2, max E first, then Q and finally W. Camp the enemy jungle, kill him if you can, steal his camps and gtfo if his team is coming to help. You're Olaf, you're a 1v1 god, use that to your advantage.

By constantly zoning or fighting the enemy jungler, you're relieving a lot of pressure from your laners while adding some pressure to the enemy team as well.

Olaf can't really gank unless the enemy is way overextended, so I find that taking over the enemy jungle is more effective.

  • posted a message on so what does eve do in team fights?

If Eve gets a good ult (4-5 members of the enemy team) she gets to just rush their carries and tank everything with her massive shield while dealing a crap ton of damage. If Eve gets a bad ult (1-2 members of the enemy team), she's forced to skirt around the edges of the fight, spamming Q and hope her team gets them low enough so she can start cleaning up with her W reset.

Btw, are you playing AP Eve? She has a really good burst but AP Eve is really squishy and even with a good ult can't stay in fights more than 3 seconds. You should try what people are calling the "Burner Eve" build, an extremely powerful jungle Eve build discovered/created by DiamondProx (I think).

You start with AD runes, you rush SotEL and IBG (maybe get a Giant's Belt before you finish IBG if you're feeling too squishy) and you just melt people! Seriously, the constant true damage procs and the spammable aoe slows "burns" pretty much anyone down, tank or carry. Main reason she's Nº1 in Stonewall's Fighter Jungler tier list.

Trundle will eat this scrawny bird-man, just you watch.

No one with half a brain will fight Trundle in a fair 1v1 fight. :P

  • posted a message on Renekton Vs Singed Match Up!

Wow I actually learned a lot from this! I've always thought Renek vs Singed lane was a skill match up with a slight advantage to Singed because during the LCS whenever Singed got to level 9 he just seemed to out trade Renek every time, but after watching this video I can see that Renekton can win the lane hard if done right. Thanks for the video!

Edit: Also, Bloodfury Renek is best Renek skin, Rune Wars ain't got nuthin' on it.

  • posted a message on About Aatrox..........

Riot already said that he's standing on the very thin line that separates a melee carry from a fighter. He's a lot like Jax if you think about it: has some utility and as the game goes on he only gets stronger to the point where pretty much no one can 1v1 him.

There's no "fighter/bruiser" option in your poll so I voted for Tanky Bruiser, because he's definitely not an assassin and melee champs with full offensive builds are a myth.

The teamfight that was so popular in S2 was much more controlled and immobile. S3 team fights are very mobile and for this reason AOE comps seem to not be as strong as a Dive comp with a J4 jungle and a gap closing mid. For this reason Vlad gets outclassed playing top & mid because it's just not the META.

Pretty much. In S2 if a team fight started mid lane it usually stayed there till the end of the fight or until one of the 2 teams disengaged. Now in S3 a fight can start at mid lane and end at bot lane or top lane or whatever. Not really sure what changed but mobility has increased a lot, which is why you don't see Vlad or Amumu that much anymore.

And people should get a pbe account and try him before telling people who actually played him that he is another Fiora useless etc

^This. While it is a known fact that PBE players' skill level = 0.5 teemos, I see a lot of speculation coming from people who haven't played him in this thread.

He doesn't kill himself in the laning phase, the health costs on Q and E aren't nearly as big as people make it out to be (it's the "Zac is trash tier" thing all over again) and the untoggled W gives him a surprising amount of sustain.

In the jungle, however, you have to trade either clear speed or sustain to get the other, because with W toggled off his sustain is pretty good but his speed is kinda meh, while with W toggled on his speed is pretty decent while his sustain is worse than Mundo as in you can actually die. Anyway, the difference between a good Aatrox and a great Aatrox player will be the smart use of his W.

People are comparing him to Fiora when he's more of a Xin Zhao/Jax hybrid in that he brings the utility of a bruiser while having the potential damage of a carry. He can perfectly build items like BotRK, Maw of Malmortius and/or Last Whisper and then build tanky and still do a surprisingly high amount of damage.

(Short analysis from someone who has actually played him and tested him both in the lane and in the jungle multiple times).

You reeeally should find a way to place your facecam somewhere else because the way it is now the stream can't see the map. Also, I don't know if you talked about this because I had to leave but maxing W as Sejuani is a big no-no.

A good portion of the damage from the pre rework W was transferred to her Q, so you should max E first for the increased slow and more reliable damage, then Q for the utility and huge damage increase (12% max health is ridiculous). W's damage only becomes really noticeable when you have a good amount of bonus health.

Other than that, I'm loving your streams.
