Thanks everyone, today I begin my journey to platinum! My goal is to do it by the end of the season, so I can reap whatever rewards Riot may present haha.

Game 1 : Chogath top | Outfarmed lane opponent, pushed down tower, roamed and got kills, bot lane was slightly behind, mid won a little bit. 1-0-9 : WIN
Game 2 : Kassadin mid | Got pwned by early pantheon ganks, fed pretty hard, bot also fed, top was doing ok, ended up losing quite badly. 3-5-2 : LOSS
Game 3 : Nautilus jungle | My blue was stolen level 1, came back and pulled a successful gank off of EVERY lane, 2 enemies ragequit, so i fed some kills to boost enemy teams k/d/a out of sympathy. 2-3-3 : WIN
Game 4 : Nautilus jungle | There's something called karma...lol...pulled off successful ganks EVERYWHERE 20 minutes in and im 11-2-9, the total score is 20-19, I was part of every kill on my team. 30 minutes in and we realize its gg, enemy team vayne carried too hard, nautilus doesn't carry as hard apparently. 12-4-16 : LOSS
GAME 5 : Chogath top | Enemy vayne from last game was chill, we proceeded into the final game as a duoq. He/She went mid nidalee. Bot lane was slightly ahead, mid was feeding quite a bit, jungle was feeding as well. Enemy Xin jungle was getting all the kills (kind of like me last game, and we know how that went), i was top free farming against riven, had 230 CS at 26 minutes, eventually i just killed her with feast/ignite and stuff. Push down the turret, roamed mid, pooped all over enemy team. 6-2-6 : WIN
I dont know why i decieded to type all that, im just happy right now lol. -

yeah, you have to make a conscious effort and it is difficult at first. Make sure to be hard on yourself for mistakes so you learn from them, but dont let it affect your attitude. If you actually can get 100 cs at 10 minutes, you should be able to win lane every single game.

After CS, learn map awareness. The goal here is to make a habit of looking at your minimap at least once every 5 seconds, without losing CS because of it. Being able to see where the enemy champions are at all times give you a distinct advantage when it comes to avoiding ganks, counter ganking, counterjungling, etc. Also get into the habit of buying 1-2 wards per recall minimum, and PLACE them in useful locations whenever possible. Warding is extremely beneficial.
At first it will seem unnatural and difficult, but after a few games of doing this it becomes very easy to keep an eye on your minimap, and you wont even notice ur doing it.

You are in luck if you want to get better. Since you are bronze, there is miles of room for improvement. Start by learning how to last hit, as at that level, being able to last hit perfectly gives you a huge advantage over your lane opponent. 20 CS is worth more gold than a kill is. Go into a custom game and see if you can get 90-100 CS by ten minutes with only auto attacks. If you can do this, you will gain a gold lead over your lane opponent, allowing you to bully them and even kill them (giving you a larger advantage).

If you can land perfect CS and have good map awareness, you can probably attain Silver easily, but there's still more to learn. There are aspects you can learn by researching (reading guides, watching streams, watching replays, etc), but experience is still extremely valuable. Get a feel for what items to buy, what champions to pick, what summoner's to use, when to engage, when to do objectives, etc.At bronze level, what champion you pick doesn't matter if you have mastered the above mechanics. Learn how to outplay the opposing team, and only focus on getting better. Losing a game and learning a valuable lesson is better than winning and learning nothing.

You remind me of myself a while ago (and still now a little bit)
I was gold in s2, and when the soft reset came in s3 a quick unlucky 10 games brought me to the bronze levels, where i was guaranteed to be the best player 9 times out of 10 and where nobody else had a gold border. Eventually i climbed back up to about 1350ish when the new league system came, and I was doing ok and got into silver I division eventually.
Then i took a break from league because i was tired of bs and the community and whatever. I played alot of DOTA 2 with my friends, and did do some ranked 5s with them every once in a while.
After coming back to LoL from DOTA, I can say I have improved skillwise, but im still in silver 1. Starting from exactly 1 LP, i quickly started winning more and more games, only to find that i was getting about 3 to 4 LP per match, meaning it would take over 20 STRAIGHT wins to qualify for a promotion.
I am currently on a huge winstreak with Kassadin (overall stats are 11-2 from having never played him in ranked before that) and they are giving me 4-5 LP per match now, so im up to 42. It's still a long way from getting close to gold V, and a longer way from where i feel i belong in the ladder, but im just gonna have to suck it up and start grinding.
My friend (who didnt like Dota) played LoL instead during my break, and hes now in Gold I, he was silver 1 when i stopped playing initially, and he was a little worse than me. Now he is about as good as me, so I feel I belong in the same division as him, but as things are going now, its going to take a really long time and a lot of wins to get there. -

It really seems like AP kog would work on paper, something tells me it won't translate well in game though
But it does in fact work very well in actual games.
AP Kog is:
*Really REALLY good at farming
*Has incredibly high base damages
*kites really well
*Carries games very hard
*Actually totally capable of stomping a lot of matchups in the laning phase because his autoattack trades are very strongHis only disadvantages are like:
*Vulnerable to ganks early
*Not a roaming ganker
*No hard CC
*Does not nuke people instantly like Leblanc or Veigar
*Runs oom really fast if you're not careful with his ult
Then he can be sorta counterpicked by like... Leblanc during the laning phase. Nocturne is also kinda scary although you can troll his positioning with your E when he dives. But yeah like, the main issue with AP Kog is more that you have to manage his mana in teamfights very well, and picking him means your team needs to have other champions with hard CC.^This is exactly right. As an AP kog player, lb is tough in lane and nocturne's ult is hell in teamfights. AP kog outranges almost all other gap closers. The vision reduction is also extremely troublesome.

The reason liandry's is good on kog over other ap carries is because his ult has a high base damage with low (0.3) scaling. Liandry's doesn't give much ap, but that's ok because magic pen is better on kog. AP kog is my second favorite champion right now, he is DEFINITELY viable in low-mid elo soloq, he is probably viable in high elo soloq (seen people do it recently including froggen). In competitive play, meh, I can't really say much about that.

Is there an age group you are looking for? Also does it count if I was gold in s2 but haven't quite gotten there in s3 yet?

This is how it seems to me.
With great player skill Utility supports = tanky supports.
With bad player skill tanky supports > utility supports. In other words, with someone who rarely plays support, i would rather them play taric, but with someone who is a great support, it would depend on the matchup and teamcomps.
