In good coordinated play, yes. His ultimate allows for both gamebreaking vision and absolutely insane roaming presence.

Add this to the fact that he is a stunbot with excellent poke and somewhat good teamfight presence, and you have an absolutely insane T1 champ. That's Twisted Fate to you.

  • posted a message on Gaming on an IP Budget -- What to Buy

I've been playing since beta on an IP budget. Very few skins (although I did abuse and buy Pulsefire at release), but I have all the T3 runes I need and 108 champions out of the current 112 (as of Zac).

People also always get surprised when I copy paste my usual "Hey everyone! I just wanted to point out that I play best as mid, but that I can fill any role. :)", because too few people do this. I do this because I learned to play every role very effectively with the kind of shopping mentality that Winrar described. Buying 2-3 champions of every role of the lower cost champions.

It's been a great experience and I strongly suggest to any LoL player on an IP budget to follow this article's tips. I did this myself long ago and it paid off. :)

  • posted a message on PBE Changes for 4/10 - Health Potions Now Limited at 5 at a Time, Balance Changes, Champion Headers

Boots+3 is still a legit start when looking for mobility btw. Adding counterplay and keeping what makes weak early game champions what they are is the goal of these changes, and it's a very good thing. Megasustain at early laning phase is just not fun for either party. It offers no counterplay for the opponent and slows your core build.

If anything, it will actually open up the variety, probably even bringing back the Dorans as starter items, although I doubt it. Sustain is what's pretty good for the solo laners right now, especially those with a weak early game like Kassadin or Katarina.

Vulcun vs TSM looked so brutal and good yesterday and we saw BloodWater making some very good calls. What we saw yesterday wasn't a TSM endlessly throwing the game and making terrible mistakes. We saw a great Vulcun and that's all there is to it. I'm pleasantly surprised and I am really looking forward to seeing more of them.

Some very interesting comments about Xerath's passive. Thing is... we DO need a caster with armor. Thing is... we need one for laning phase. This is a tricky situation.

If he's truly done a 180 in attitude, I feel this is a pretty good move by Curse Gaming. IWillDominate, regardless of his past behavior, is an excellent player.

  • posted a message on Achievments??

They had plans for those a while ago, but put many other things in priority instead. One of the main reasons brought up being the fact that they can't really afford to go the easy way and make many silly achievements, as League of Legends is a competitive game. People trying to do silly achievements could end up making them play worse than they usually would, which is a bad thing in a competitive environment. I think it would be fun to finally have achievements, but I wouldn't expect those before a loooong time.

Edit: Just realized that as a resident of the Province of Quebec, I am, once again, ineligible to this contest. Sadface. :'(

    New year's resolution? 1920x1080.

Seriously though, I just want to work on finding the path that's right to me. I'm still young, but been wandering too long. I think it's time to settle, and get serious about what's dearest to me.

New year's resolution: Work hard, win big. Collect IP.

  • posted a message on Jungle Tier List - Vi Era

@Pistallion: I believe it was clearly stated by Stonewall himself. Trundle's jungling ability (which has always been very good already) is not the only thing keeping him up there, but also the fact that he is a formidable opponent against one tank teams because of his heavy debuffing, which is much more frequent so far in this pre-season.

Trundle's always been a hidden gem of the jungle, overshadowed by others and not fitting of the S2 meta, sadly. But get over it, things changed with this new pre-season.

Besides... Top of tier 2 is excellent, it just means Nocturne is a tad bit more situational than those of Tier 1, but remains one of the best jungle picks out there regardless. How's that a problem?

Fair enough I guess. That's still a very bold move, since, and they said it themselves, Elementz is the core of Team Curse. We'll see how it goes!
