For all the bad rap she gets fiora is actually a really good pub stomp in low elos. Since most people straight up don't know how to play against her you have a relatively high chance of defeating your opponent top and if he feeds hardcore you can pretty much just Q>R>Win Teamfight the rest of the game.

Do you think when picking a champion for solo lane someone should pick, when possible, a champion they know counters the champion their opponent's champion or a champion they know they are much better at even if it may be a counter to themselves? For the sake of argument we'll say that the champion that would be a counter they are decently familiar with and they are basically experts with the other champion

And thus we come to what I said several posts back: there is no way to set a sinle lineup for a LoL game.
How many assasins should there be in the team? How many supports? Mages? Support mages? Carries? Tanks? Bruisers? And what about champions that have no specific class? Like Ezreal. Or Teemo. Or Kayle. Should their poke be taken into account? Or their sustain? Or their burst? Or whether they're AoE or not?
If it was as simple as you seem to think it is, then trust me it would have been done ages ago. Alas, it's not. At all.
See that's the thing I don't understand.Riot would be "stagnating" creativity that really isn't there. At least not in ranked Queue. Most people stick with what they know, and at best you may find some champions in odd places, but almost never something drastic like a solo glass cannon Rengar bot. Very few people actively try to innovate in ranked queues where this would be implemented. Normal draft and blinds would be the exact same where most people try new things anyway.

I dont get what all this "trash lategame" nonsense is, lategame is his strongest point in the game after his laner is level 3. (he is one of if not the strongest lvl 1 duelist in the game, prove me wrong)
yeah, yeah critplank is squishy. I think there's value to glasscannon gangplank if you get fed early on, but that rarely happens. But tanky DPS gangplank is a lot better than you guys are giving him credit for. Atmogs, iceborn, infinity edge, and something else of any flavor gives him extremely good dueling and survivability. He has some really high base stats, and just having a little bit of crit can turn him into a monster. AA Q AA lets you run around and kite people even if you would lose a straight up trade anyways. I don't really play him in ranked (mostly because I dont play ranked), but I win most of my normals I play with him. At the very least, as long as I stay careful and just dont feed top, I never come out with a negative KDA.See that's his problem. That build you just mentioned has 4 items in it that are all extremely expensive. His lack of utility is what makes him so easy to handle with all of the more common tops and jungles in league right now so he rarely gets fed when playing against players of similar skill level so he can't really rely on getting fed early and snowballing very often. (I know he has a relatively strong early game but if the person you are playing against has any common sense they will just try to deny him farm and early kills and he's as good as shut down) So he has no choice but to try and farm all of the money he needs. This can be a bad thing especially mid game because while he is busy farming his opponent could very easily be roaming and generally helping his team, and like others have stated while his ult is useful it only gets weaker as the game progresses. In the end IMO i don't think GP is weak, just extremely gold reliant and that is not something you want to be in the current meta

Honestly in this meta his kit is actually his biggest detriment no matter what he does. If he tries to build to capitalize off his crit damage he has the most gold inefficient build in the game. Like no joke I think GP has one of if not the most expensive build paths in the game. And even if you try and build him as a tanky bruiser to match the meta he still won't succeed. The fact that his tanky build sacrifices a lot of his damage in favor for tankiness doesn't change the fact that he doesn't have any hard CC or a gap closer so pretty much any other bruiser out classes him. And if i'm not mistaken his tanky build is still relatively exspensive

Is this how you "communicate" with people? You're not listening to any one else's side of the argument and just blatantly stating that this idea won't work. Communication doesn't always work. As a matter of fact it so rarely works with the people in this community that Riot had to endorse pick over call order just to solve that simple of a problem. I won't lie to you either Queue times will be longer for certain roles but honestly, there are to many people queuing who only know how to play one or two roles. I think the longer queue times could be helpful in getting people to diversify their champion repertoire. I'm not saying you have to agree with me, I mean clearly this plan has faults, but that doesn't mean you have to be a bigoted asshole about it. You're one of the people that cause us to have this problem in the first place. Stubborn and close minded.

listen to me very carefully.
I know, this may be hard to grasp.
Riot WILL NOT officially endorse "roles", because that locks in the meta, kills innovation, and will lead to a stagnant game.
Hey "QUE BY ROLE" guy, have you watched a high elo game lately? Notice how frequently the "top laner" is bottom while the "bottom lane duo" is top? Happens every single game on purple side. How does this effect your "role" - if you can't define it by lane, do you have to pick it by purpose? "ADC, APC, Support, Jungle, Bruiser"? What about double AP comps? What about assassins mid? Que by role does not make the game better.
Anyone arguing for que by role is simply a selfish prick. Learn to play other roles. OR play in premade 5s. Stop QQing about a problem that isn't there. The system isn't broken. YOU are.
Hey I offered a suggestion to fix something many people identify as a problem. You better freak the fuck out and attack me personally for no reason.

I don't want anyone to police what champions can be used in what roles. That doesn't mean I like it when I get a support Caitlyn, but I'd prefer the occasional troll to being told by The Man what lanes a champion can be used in.
Well like I said rather than Riot pick we would have players vote on who can fill what roles.......so if by you don't want the man to keep you down you mean you don't want your peers telling you that a certain champion isn't viable in that role then by all means play blind
