    imo Darius was a good design. High risk (melee toplaner with no escapes, inate tankyness and sustain) and high reward. He was just very imbalanced on release

    Vlad's healthcosts are countered by him getting free HP, him scaling with HP, becomes untargetable negating bursts and that he has insane self heals. This guy does not get free HP or scale with HP, he has a AA reliant heal that he loses if he wants to do full dmg.

    I think what may be interesting in his kit is that he seems to not have some insane heal or regen like other lifecost champions (Mundo, Vlad, Zac) and unlike them does not seem to scale with HP or have innate tankyness (other then passive, but that is more surviving after suiciding). 

    Of course his abilities won't let him literally kill him and won't put him under 1hp. My point was that without healt stacking and insane heals he will need to be carefully with toggling his W, especially if he has a lot of AS. If he tries to AA a high armor target while ignited or suffering from grievous wound (or if he for some reason has not built LS) he may end up losing more hp then the opponent from just his own autos.

    As for attack range I would suspect it to be a significant increase it seems like a big part of his ult. And even small attack range increases can be significant, Wukongs Q range increase is.

    Passive is a inbuilt GA not a Trynd ult. Xin's heal is not OP as it is AA reliant and this type of heal pushes the lane and requires him to be in melee range.

    Vlad and rengar are drastically different. Vlad is ranged and heals with his Q from a safe distance. He also gets tanky by building offense and has the trollpool making it hard to all inn him. Rengar's heal is not reliant on melee aa's. 

    If Aaronx is forced away from the minions he can only poke with his E, which costs him health and will eventually force him out of lane. 

    Jax should be a hardcounter for him toplane as his E counters both Aaronx W and R. If his W toggle deals physical dmg he will struggle against tanks as they have only to stack armor and Aaronx W will do more damage to himself then them. Shen would then be a hardcounder, dmg reduction from armour and taunt + heal from vorpal blade would hardcounter Aaronx W burst.

    It is more like Guts in Berserker armour: He wields a huge sword and gains inhuman strenght at the cost of his own health. True he has wings, but only uses them to jump around, like Guts.

    The passive is an inbuilt GA not an inbuilt Hexdrinker so you can most definitely make plays around it. Also since the passive needs to be charged it requires planning and allows counterplay. W being toggled means he kills himself with his own AAs is also new.

    The ultimate increasing his AA range is significant. The outplay potential in him is the correct use of his W toggle combined with his passive (if he has W toggled and a lot of as he will kill himself if he can not LS enough), as well as dodging his 2 skillshots (Q and E).

    Aatrox can jump walls to make J4 style ganks. He has aoe knockup (though probably a small aoe), ranged slow, lots of dmg and bonus attack range (to prock red buff). I think he can be a great jungler depending on his clears
