Iirc, Elementz has said several times that wards/map vision is the most powerful ability in the game. The reasons should be obvious; contesting objectives, spotting ganks, catching out of position players, knowing team formations in advance, etc.

I haven't gone back to it in some time but I used to try it out. It's "okay" the ulti and shield are really good though. Maybe one day I can give it a whirl again :p

He's still quite strong top lane imo and provides a lot of damage for your team. He's also pretty good at surviving and is a pseudo tank.

Yes. Solo queue will be updated soon and it will be done the old way like it was before. The two lists will be different.
