Lee's strength comes very early while Jax takes time to amp up through levels. By that time Lee can already have snowballed the lanes and have gained a significant advantage. Lee also has more flexibility with items while Jax really needs items to work his magic.

I bought one such card at a store since prepaid riot cards were out of stock, and tried to use it to purchase riot points. It didn't work, and I checked to FAQ's on the card and found out why:

Where can I use my gift Card?

You may use your Vanilla Visa Card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted within the fifty United States and District of Columbia; however, it does not include the territories of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. The Vanilla Visa Card cannot be used at merchants outside of the United States, including the Internet and mail order/telephone order merchants outside of the United States. 

It still has full funds on it so if anyone is willing to exchange it for riot points I'd be really grateful :C. Message me here or ingame (Ign:Wuju Die Please) and we can settle this. I will give you the #, info (expiration, CVV) after you have gifted 7200 riot points to my account. Gifting ends on the 26th, and the funds on the card will start to drop after the 7th of January, so quick help would be very helpful. 

I will not be scamming you, I have plenty of money to work with but I don't want to waste the card, and I can't return it so if anyone is willing to trade it would mean a lot to me.

Akali's biggest strength is in murdering the squishies with her high damage and mobility. I wouldn't pick akali early, but more of a counterpick to certain champs/ squishy compositions. If they have a tankier comp, it might be better to go for champions with more sustained dps or team contributions.
