I can't think of another game that has nearly this level of complaints toward matchmaking.  At some point, there is a problem with Riot's system and it isn't just people complaining.  If Riot keeps thinking this, they will wake up one day and realize they missed the boat.

Well, it probably has to do with the fact that it is so widely played (THE most played online game ?)

Seriously, if you read the complains, you'll find out that : the matchmaking sucks, every hero is OP, every item is bad, the meta is stupid, Riot is the worst company ever, and players are 99% kids, trolls, and noobs.

I read the whole original post. And I really don't see your point, OP. It looks you just don't know  or understand that Matchmaking is based on your hidden ELO. You Division/tier doesn't count. Neighter does your W/L ratio.

Calculating a "level value" for each player is a terribly difficult problem. Matchmaking is a terribly difficult problem, too : it's something between Multi-criteria decision analysis and the Set partition problems, plus a lot, lot of noise in the data you have.

Everyone here seems to another sumoner over claivoyance. How about replacing FLASH with CV ? I usually run CV+Exhaust when I play support.

Dunno if you are still here, but :

    - If you just want to play LoL 1500$ is like twice too much. If you plan on playing "regular" games (I mean, recent games), a 1000$ tower would really be enough.

    - You can keep that 6 years old PSU if you are sure it's still properly working. An old PSU could ruin your whole system. By the way, could you tell us its brand and model ?

    - Do you plan on overcloking ? If not, There is no need to buy a 200$ MB.

    - The GTX 680 is fine, but Nvidia basically killed it with the 670 : almost as powerfull, and much cheaper. I'd go for a 670.

    - With that budget, you could totally afford a SSD. Believe me, it's usefull :p.
