I suppose I was a bit harsh, and I'm sorry, you guys do good work and I appreciate it. I still stand by the essence of my previous post, this is simply Gustaf sharing his preferred builds without truly convincing his audience that they are optimal. Yes these builds are better than building IE PD LW on every carry, but this could have been an awesome series analyzing the build dilemmas each adc encounters. Once again, I'm sorry Gustaf for phrasing my previous criticism as an attack, you do good work and I enjoy analyzing it, accepting what you convince me to accept and arguing everything else. Keep it up

This article is meh at best. I suppose it helps new people, but 95% of it is game info you can find on the LoL wiki, and the other 5% is essentially a rephrasing of the game info with a 1 sentence justification for a full build. I guess I expect too much from the A DIFFerent View series.

There once was this scrub jungler without Summoner Smite who took ignite, then invaded TrundleTrundle found him,and then he grabbed his club and scored first-blood. He then yelled, "NEVER PLAY FIORA" This was personal, because of fiora's summoner name was "Play Fiora Forever". He then grabbed a doran's blade and smacked Nasus' and he falls into a big pile of POOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The poo actually was surged heimerdinger, who took out a fed Akali and then he became great necrophile. Yorick was unamused, Karthus was amused. Karthus then pressed F instead R, but he forgot he was OOM, so Karthus aggroed the big wolf to have unlimited mana. "no more tears" he yelled to Ice King Trundle, whilst slapping him with gentleman glove. Cho'Gath burst into song! "Ohhhhhhh I

TBH, the everything is viable arguement is not debunked by opportunity cost. The claim is that playskill with a champion justifies picking it because the trade-off of raw strength for skill is near always worth it (exception being when the variance of skill is very slim i.e. pro play). if you are good with a champion with a winrate of, say, 40% or higher, it can be argued that this is viable (but not optimal) due to your increased proficiency compensating for the slight disadvantage in pick strength.

The important distinction to be made is Viable vs Competitive vs Optimal, Which I would define as follows:

Viable: if the difference in power gained through skill for two champions is greater than the difference in raw strength, that champion is a viable pick.

Competitive: Same as viable, but assuming Pro level skill.

Optimal: A strategy that is strictly better than all similar strategies.

13 creeps is significant, also notice that total gold earned decreases as rating increases. I would guess that this is due to shorter average games. I would also guess that CS/min is significantly higher for diamond/challenger.

Last Hitting is still important on jungle. Being able to cover lanes effectively, and collect your taxes efficiently, is important. Not to mention smiting, it's just like really high pressure last hitting.
