Athene utterly sucks at everything else than Ryze and Soraka. I don't get why people watch this kiddo. Maybe they need to get self-confidence - to see some idiots on tv/stream is really cool cause u always know ur life is better than that. really cool.

Seriously? I think we agree, that she does not belong to Tier 1... but 5 is way too bad in my opinion.

If you go 6-2-8 in every game (as ad carry, which i mostly play) and you do - let's say 10 faults in the game and miss 30 creeps.

then nearly everyone else at my team makes estimated 80 mistakes and feed a 12-0 riven or 7-0 veigar. i always win my lane or carry myself back or stay passive and farmed. but when i face as 5-0 ezreal a 12-0 enemy riven ganking every second minute, what can i do? of course i do mistakes but i never feed the enemy and this is what i basically meet in 70% of the rankeds i lost.

let's say, i don't win or even lose 30% of my loss games. 70% are impossible to carry. that's simply it. i even have videos of many games, and everyone would fully agree with me in that point xD

I really love my clan. They were searching for a supporter for a long time, and a while ago they found me. And how much i hear "omg, nice, that's why i want you to play support!" - i can't count it. it's so nice.
almost nothing is more satisfying than ablitzcrank grab of a 12-0 midlaner right into the dragon pit and a followed shutdown.

But i still hate playing Support in Solo Queue. I was almost 1400 ELO. (Obv, i am not a pro player, but if u watch me, you'll se, i am not a total retard, know when i make a mistake and understand the game)
then i played support 90% in rankeds, because 90% i am lastpick and 100% i am so friendly that i play, where others want me to go. that leads to a (!) 400 (!) ELO down streak to 1003 elo.
how was this possible? RETARD AD CARRYS ALL THE WAY LONG. i get afkers, people who ALLHIT instead of lasthitting, engaging 1v3 WHEN THEY HAVE VISION. they do not look on the map, when there is a ward at dragon - the whole team comes and they go to push the tower.

just tell me, how the fuck can i carry these guys? it's IMPOSSIBLE. i don't expect everyone to be a pro, but i expect them to use their brain. and in chat, it's always my fault then, because MIDLANE is not warded and BARON is not warded and TOPLANE is not warded and riven is 12-0. people keep saying right into my face they don't need wards, because it's my task and not theirs.

i simply can't stand that. supporters can only sometimes carry the AD - if you land a blitzcrank grab, EVERY dumbest ad carry will damage them. but i saw it so often, that a taric is amazing, puts in a stun on my carry... and nothing happens. because the enemy ad is a retard too. but he always farms better than mine. but if that 1v3 engager corki is 0-7, i can't do anything but walk away and let him die the 8th time and then the BOTLANE is reported for feeding, not the corki.

the only issue to actually solve that problem is to duo-queue. i have like 20 good supporters on my fl but only 2 ad carrys... amazing. so i am playing ad mainly now. because i know i can carry and use my brain. and to find a nice and good support is much easier than to find a good and nice ad carry.

however, support is much more fun to play now in the game, but it doesn't solve the problem, that noone actually wants to play it, as long as there are all the other retards. support players are often the most friendly players in the team and not seldom also the best ones. uncounted great tarics and leonas... (awful sonas and blitzcranks all the time though...)

nvm, that's a thing, i always wanted to write. i am right back up at 1100 elo now carrying myself up with a bit of ad carry work - but people now just pick ad carry when we said as premates, that we want to go bot, just because i am lastpick and he writes in caps lock. if i don't pick the shit role, where i suck, i am a troll and get reported. if i do and already said it before i get reported for feeding.

maybe someone can tell me, why i am ~85-95% the last pick of every damn solo queue game. i have enough... i really like playing support, but not with retard randoms, because you can't do a shit then. you can do exactly nothing but leave your lane and get reported for that. or let him die and get report for it, or try to save him, die too and get reported for feeding, or leave the game and get reported, or gank midlane and roam and get reported for stealing farm and exp.

I'd like to see 4 instead of 3 bans for each team and maybe add 1 free pick for the captain before ban phase begins.

this also forces to have more teamwork, when picking "op champions" - who wanna play it and stuff.

My favorite caster is definitely DEMAN.

Tris has an insane early game. i don't know on which planet you live on. W-E-Ignite+Autohit at level 3 or 4 is an instakill on enemy ad-carry - i usually play her with a leona, taric or blitz support, which can keep a carry at a point for a short time. it's the midgame, that's so horrible for tristana, not the early. she begins to shine again, when u have your IE and PD. or even IE and BT if ur playing with nunu^^

and yeah, that's why i wrote: "depends on skill" ;-)i actually dropped almost 400 elo points down in 2 weeks because of retard ad-carrys, afk ad-carrys, ragequit-ad-carrys, 1v5 engage-ad-carrys all the time. no i am playing ad carry myself and regain that elo step for step and it's working pretty well, because this is not my skill-level. but i think, it's still not that bad if i reach "my elo" again. a bit harder, but still playable. and when i am better at playing tristana than e.g. corki, than i actually do, what i can do better, to have MORE chance to win (although the champ might be weaker) and at the same point more fun as well.

Hey, you guys! I followd this conversation and i want to say something. Not to end the discussion or be the boring one, but i think the solution is the way in the middle.

i actually love playing karma e.g. but i don't play her in rankeds, because she is so utterly weak. on the other side, i actually play tristana a lot, although people still want to tell me, tris is weak and crap. i am seeing great results ending up in 8-2 average in rankeds, she is not totally useless, fits my playstyle and i am constantly winning with her. next example: friend of mine is often playing sejuani in the jungle, when we are 3 or 4 or 5 premates and is always great at it. but it's a total difference to play solo queue or premate and it's a difference between normals and rankeds (i actually play karma in normals sometimes, cuz i dont care so much about winning as i do in rankeds) and it's a difference between "OMG totally useless!!" (karma and heimer atm, maybe yi and tryn and stuff) and "well... yeah... hmm... not so great" (e.g. tristana, sejuani, xerath and so on.)

So it really depends on 1. your skill 2. the wishes of your team (deny them wishes CAN make them play worse) 3. rankeds or not 4. solo, duo or team.

Sometimes i give a fuck about the teams and pick something i want, because i think it's better in the team AND i have mroe fun with it. And sometimes i pick something i don't want to play (amumu, graves e.g.) because it's the better choice and my team wants me to have this pick too, but i never (example) counter myself just because the champion is fun. i think it's only fun when u have at least a slightly realistic CHANCE to win the lane or at least not to lose it.^^ It's still a game and games are supposed to be fun, but for me my fun ends, when ohter people may suffer from this. You must find a good balance between having fun and the wish to succeed.
