    Age: 22

Tier and Division: Silver 4 atm, was silver 1 QQ

    Your preferred role: Top

    Q and A -

What do you value most within a team? Enjoying the game, being able to co-ordinate every action we make as a team, and have fun while doing so. Valuing the aspect of fun and enjoyment makes winning that much sweeter, and losing a little easier. I'm not interested in losing, I'm interested in crushing my opponents and tossing in a joke or two while doing so.

Why do you want to play competitively? I want to be known as "that guy," on "that team," that everyone talks about. I want to feel the pressure and the rush of being a competitive LoL player, and I know I can handle it. I've had dreams of being a professional LoL player, and need a team that I can climb to fame with. I've been in the competitive WoW scene back in TBC and WOTLK, acquired a world top 200 Illidan kill (maintanked that demon), a world top 50 "Tribute to Insanity" along with some other creds. I love competitive gaming, and I recently broke up with my girlfriend so time isn't an issue for me.

What other roles do you have experience with? I was a gold adc/top laner in S2 on my brother's account before I created my own, I knew if I owned my own acct I'd spend all my money on the game (which ended up happening, I own all champs and a skin for nearly all of them, some champs I own all their skins). I am versatile as a player and can play every role if necessary. Most of my non-top lane experience comes from the ADC role.

Riven can 2v1 pretty well, she's got mobility, a really solid wave-clear in a 1-2 combo, she can farm under a turret and can build bruiser with a little less gold than normal and remain relevant. Your solo-laner will need to dodge poke from the enemy, but can melt an adc once she hits 6.

I've also seen Yorick rock a solo lane pretty well, long as he can maintain his mana bar.

I've been surfing the ROG forums for quite a while now, give my two cents here and there, and really like the community as a whole.

So I felt I should share my first pentakill experience with everyone, and in turn, asking how everyone's first pentakill went down and how they felt!

I've been playing league for about 9 months now. I'm a low-silver player at the moment, I was extremely successful in carrying myself through the support role from silver 1 to silver 5, that was a good time. Since then, I've been playing top lane much more often and seeing success.

Disclaimer: My writing is poorly structured and I'm fully aware, I just want to tell a story to a community I appreciate and enjoy being a part of.

The penta came yesterday afternoon, I was Riven and got "countered" by Darius. At the start of the game the Darius felt sorry for me, because he felt as if he had countered me, this was not the case! After my team secured first blood, I took a solo kill on the Darius and from there on, I snowballed myself to crazy levels. Took another kill on Darius, took the first turret, cs'd much more than he, but died twice after taking second and third turrets. After I was 2-2, everything went out of control. A 14 kill spree, and a hard-earned victory were the results of my efforts. But the main prize.. The pentakill was what has me so excited.

It was a 2v5 (Jarvan IV and myself) at the enemies mid inhibitor, while our Draven was slowly making his presence into the fight. I popped my ult, W, single Q comboed their Annie and Taric. Double Kill. Finished my Q's and W'd Darius after the cooldown. Triple Kill. Udyr attempts to bear form out of the fight, E, W, Wind Slash. Quadra Kill. Ezreal gets a little too close to my increased ability range from my ultimate, and I tear him down to 1/5 hp. He e's away, and I'm left dumbfounded, my first pentakill squandered by the fairy-boy we all know as Ezreal. But who could forget about Draven. He tosses an E and knocks Ezreal aside, then backs away as I Q combo and toss an ingnite on him. Tick, tick, tick... Pentakill. A slew of congratulations, "report Darius for feed," and "lol gg noob team" remarks flooded all-chat, but I was just glad I've finally lost my pentakill virginity.

Probably the height of my Soloqueue ventures, I've carried my fair share of games and boast a pretty mean mid-Garen, but this has been the pinnacle thus far.

I hope all of you share the story of your first pentakill, I look forward to reading them! I hope all of you were as excited for your pentakills as I am!

  • posted a message on Tank/initiator Jungler ?

I've got my two cents on three janglers, two of which have been mentioned in this thread,

    Going to keep my boy Jarvan IV short and sweet;

Seeing a wild Jarvan IV coming out of a bush, tossing an E-Q, baiting your flash and then slamming you with his Cataclysm is a frightful experience for any carry/laner without a secondary escape (Phantom Dancer ignoring unit collision OP, Riot pls fix Cataclysm).

Early game Jarvan IV does a Hec of a lot of damage, can snowball lanes like crazy with sustained ganks and constant lane-pressure. Allowing him to build tanky right off the bat. His only problem is being extremely mana-hungry. Try laning with a manaless mid, or a mid that can survive with taking the third blue buff.

Which brings me to my next jungler: Hecarim (see above, I mentioned him I swear)! Hecarim is a workhorse and gets stronger and stronger as the game progresses. Once he catches a lane off guard, he can smack them into his teammate further than the range of flash, making an escape nearly impossible. Once 6, his ultimate into E combo makes escaping impossible, and causes early/mid game teamfights to be a nightmare for the enemy team. Hecarim is another jungler to build tanky, he has sustained damage (with his q and w), he has a whole whack of sustain (that w is like a personal-monsoon in the middle of a teamfight), and he has abilities to cause peeling him off of a carry near impossible (e and ultimate).

Is it... Is it time to troll yet?

My good buddy Trundle hasn't seen a heck of a lot of play, for a reason I cannot understand. Trundle is a beast in the early game and can piss off opposing lanes to no end, just by showing up to throw up in their bush. Trundle's ability to invade, take a big minion from an opponent's jungle, duel them on a whim, and escape if things get hairy by blocking off an entrance or running away like the little troll he is frustrates an entire enemy team, never mind their jungler.

Trundle has a great initiate/anti-initiate kit. His W allows him to run into/run away from a fight if he pleases, and if the fight occurs on his W, he becomes that much more annoying to carries and supports that need to peel. His E (dat puking emote, yum) can make an initiate by the opposing team much more difficult to capitalize on (an AoE slow that sprouts impassable terrain), and can secure an initiate by blocking off an entrance, or pinning someone to a wall. His ultimate can shred an enemy tank that is attempting to initiate, making Trundle much stronger and scarier, which makes Trundle want to initiate even more. After all is said and done and a fight breaks out, Trundle will get to your carry, he'll bite your carry's face off reducing their attack damage output, and heal up as all of your teammates fall before your eyes.

Jarvan IV is the jungler I main this season (I play a few AD junglers, I really like Kha'Zix in the jungle, evolving E first and hopping in and out of kills), but as tank junglers go, those three are my top picks!

    http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/32400547

That's me! Title states everything.. for the most part. My ranked win/loss is 49/25, my placements went 3-7, I've been climbing out of a ditch since the start of season 3!

I currently main Ad carry, but play top lane proficiently and can support/play weird mids (sivir, cait, kassadin, fizz). Most comfortable in the adc role.

Looking for a team to play with on a regular basis. Everything I have currently is flaky to say the least.
