I love Jacky and I believe Cyanide is a good player in his own right. I think they have both had great LCS's but I already had 2 Fnatic members on the team and couldn't justify him over Diamond when players from around the world clue in to see what he is doing to copy it. If I could have subs for each position both of these players would almost surely make it

Rumble will certainly feel the nerf, but this patch won't won't be live in the LCS until next week at the earliest, possibly even a week later.

I have read it and think a lot of the same concepts are universal for team sports. It is definitely an influence for this post. Good eye :)

I talked to him after the nerfs happened. You misunderstood what he was saying. He is saying as items are being balanced (then referenced BotRK) items are going to be super OP for a time.
No one will argue that when it was buffed BotRK wasn't wildly OP and thats why they had to nerf it. He's saying Riot in general is trying to find an equilibrium in Season 3 and until they have finished changing a lot of things, he is going to reserve his judgement on the game as a whole.

He is definitely not replacing Saint. For now Dominate will just be in the house to help with various things and if and when his ban gets lifted he will have the opportunity to become a sub for the main team (providing everything else has been going well).

I try to remain unbiased in my evaluations of teams and simply watch all the games and form my thoughts on the results. If you feel I was being unfair to a specific team or player feel free to let me know here or you can shoot me a PM and I will certainly listen and have been known to change my mind.

I trust Slasher and he is not the only one who has been reporting this (nor the only person who has told me it's 100% not happening). If the details change and it is somehow resurrected from the ashes I'd be more than thrilled to update the story though :)

Shiphtur is from Canada and is having a lot of problems for whatever reason getting a work visa for the US (all the players are being employed by Riot Games).
