Hi, i play on EUW too, under the name zerohead73. I'm currently silver division 2. I come from holland and main toplane. I am almost online every day and pretty long, although I spend much of my team with friends playing normals or ranked 5s, but I'm willing to change that.

My questions to you are what role you prefer and when you play.

His mid - lategame is subpbar, so he only works if you are sure you can make the enemy toplane worthless or you know you cant get really fed, which won't happen against good enemies. Also is cooldowns are retardedly high.

The best carry from toplane is by far Hecarim. Jax, irelia, vi and riven can carry pretty Well too. Hecarim basically has everything needed go carry: hard-engage, is able to catch enemies for your team, is unkillable, can take out enemy carries, and can peel for your own.

I main hecarim, I main toplane and jungle very often. I use many of my champions for both (xin, olaf, jax). Hecarim however, I only play TOP. I feel he's an underwhelming jungler because he's too item dependant, his ganks are too easily couñtered (well-timed flash= failgank+wasted ultimate) and is easily counterjungled.

So why is our pony a strong toplaner? Basically because he counters the four most FOTM toplaners (irelia, jax, darius, jayce), stands equal against olaf and is besides cho'gath the only champ that can outsustain yorick's harass. He basically only loses to vladimir, kennen and to a lesser degree rumble, if played well.

For toplane, I would recommend Hecarim, he beats almost every meleechamp there, including the current FOTM champs (jax, darius, irelia, olaf) and also beats early game bullies like khazix, garen and renekton while scaling incredibly Well into lategame especially with the gold a toplaner gets. He also is a very safe pick due to his good escaping abilities, he'll only get pooped on by ranged champs, vlad, rumble kennen and jayce. He still beats nid and teemo though. He is also one of the few champs that beat yorick because of his incredible sustain. I recommend looking up The guide onlyasmile made for him on solomid.

For jungling you can also pick hecarim, but I find Mundo Olaf And Jax work the best in the new jungle.  Good luck.
