Of course, everyone should be able to pursue happiness on in their own way. But the added affect is that we will be able to bring in more people who aren't male. Only good things come from a more diverse work force.

I have a handful of female friends who refuse to sex identify while playing. And purposefully choose vague names that do not sex identify. Women should be able to play as who they are, not carefully hidden as to not "offend" (seriously, lol) anyone.

I think the best part of women in gaming is that it will bring us deeper games. More points of view bring better breadth and width to games (or anything in general). Imagine what we lost in gaming because it is so male dominated, we could have had a Merry Shelly work on a horror game. We could have had a Slyvia Plath even, okay maybe a bad example, but you get the idea.

Complete as always. Gustav, under any and all circumstances I will have your back. The gaming needs more people like you at the forefront. It makes me proud as a gamer to see more and more people in the position of power stepping up.

If when growing up men and women both exhibit equal parts interest in most jobs, and then there is a shift around 12 to 14 years of age, then there is the more probable chance that society has an effect on why men and women go into the roles that they do.

If we're at work it means we have dedication and work ethic that we wont take time to skype you immediately. Or that we are easily distracted and read RoG when we should be working... Pick which ever one you want to believe. (the former, pick the former)

I'm in, I'll add when I return home from work. I have been looking for a way to become a larger part of RoG in general. eSports is important to me, the gaming industry is important to me, and this will be a very important first step for me to reach this goal of mine, and I would be honored to work with you on this.
Thank you.

What would it matter if there was? If you were accosted all day for being straight you'd want to play with just straight people, or at the very least people who support your way of life and not deem you immoral or some sort of deviant.

Because women AREN'T held to the same standards and criticisms men are. When female politicians run, half of the criticisms are based on their appearance. The community is too misogynist and male-centric to watch a female streamer without mentioning her looks. That is why women can choose not to stream with their video up. And I support any decisions they make, because I know if I was being criticized on my looks when I play I wouldn't want to be seen every day.
