It does if that's the character. You find it jarring because you have these tropes set up in your head about how men and women should be. Real life doesn't always fit that. Why should fantasy?

I build all my supports tanky. Why wouldn't you? Health is an amazing stat that's freely and cheaply available and comes with all sorts of delicious support utility like CDR, auras and cool actives. 

Supports are designed to function with very little farm and rely on their skills rather than items. It follows that to get the most out of a support, they should be able to use their skills as often as possible over as long a time as possible. That means CDR and survivability, both of which are available to supports in abundance. There's no reason you shouldn't be a mini tank, even as someone like Nami.

Cool concept, cool design. I give it three months before she's got a sexy skin.

Also, Elise, Zyra and Syndra were all designed by the same guy? Figures.

I think it's just a case of the community being slow to react. Morgana was banned for so long that no-one was playing her as the meta shifted around her. Then realisation began to dawn that she wasn't worth a ban any more, and the community decided that she's not worth playing. I think she's still good, just not particularly fashionable (Lux in particular seems to have majorly taken her place).

So I ran into this scenario recently and it didn't work out well for us. I'd like to ask you guys what you think.

I'm Taric, laning with Varus versus Ezreal and Sona in solo queue. I think this is going to be fairly simple, and set about zoning. However, every time I stun Sona to intiate a fight, Varus ignores her and starts attacking Ezreal instead. This lack of focus means we get beat pretty easily in lane, and we lose the game eventually.

Discussing it post-match, Varus tells me I should generally focus Ezreal in lane, either with stuns or by disabling Sona and then attacking Ez, since he has the most damage and benefits the most from being in lane. I disagree, my reasoning being that Ez is much harder to pin down with my stun (which is on a similar timer to his blink) and that since Varus is a much less mobile ADC it'd be better to burst down Sona and zone Ez out 2v1, then try and fail to kill Ez (who'll likely just escape anyways).

Who's right?

Nothing really, I said pretty much everything I wanted to say and you seem to have decided that I'm a raging fucktard, so I don't really see the point in continuing the conversation :)

About the only support I run gp10 seals and quints on is Taric, purely because you don't need armour seals with the huge amounts of armour Taric gets passively from Shatter (in addition to armour marks). But boy do you notice the difference. That cash just flows. It's just unfortunate that Taric is probably one of the least gold-reliant supports in the game.

I have Silver Kayle, King Rammus and UFO Corki, and I would be a little annoyed if they made those available in the store. To me, what they signify is my history with the game. Silver Kayle because I bought the retail Collector's Edition. King Rammus because I was a beta tester. UFO Corki because I've been around since 2009.

Just... little things, right? But I like having them because playing these champs and using these skins says something about me as a player besides "I spent 975 RP". That's cool! And since they're mostly just shitty recolours most of their value comes from that. If you release them in the store, you diminish their value, and that sucks. You can't blame people for being upset. Now suddenly people want Goth Annie because she got a visual rework and this neat thing people have had for years has suddenly become a fad? GTFO.
