dude I love Jacky too but sometimes he just doesn't pay attention. sometimes its like he doesnt know people are roaming. He face checks the other teams jungle at lvl 1 by himself and gives up first blood. He has a tendency to overstay even after the objectives they came to take were taken. He can make really cool mechanical plays sometimes, his teamfighting can be game changing if he is on a good day. His issue is consistency and awareness. I think the op was just saying that like in europe and asia a lot of the mid players are anchors for their teams, call plays etc. I mean can you imagine teams without their mids like Peke, alex, froggen, toyz, etc.

I'm kind of a traditionalist and only get SoLE on champs that can constantly apply it over a large area (hec, eve, kayle, etc.)
as far as all the nocturne business goes i get madreds and then use bork for LS with randuins, hexdrinker, etc. I find that with bork and randuins it will greatly increase your likelyhood of sticking to your e target while also giving tankiness and damage

posted a message on Normals vs Coop: It's just not worth playing Normal games anymore when Coop vs AI simply rewards you better...Posted in: General Discussions
I really enjoy meeting new people while playing and have befriended several people i've met playing pvp. I feel like that wouldnt be the case in pve because its a lot harder to appreciate skill when the people you are playing with dont have to put effort into it. for example some lux makes a really cool double kill on pvp and is sniping people left and right with ults. I feel like if it was a bot game i woulda thought yeah that woulda been really awesome if the people we were fighting against had brains and engaged in counterplay. what is great about league is that it is both tactically and strategically interesting. I remember one time our ranked 5's team was going up against a team named obamas socialists that ran a 5tp comp and I felt so good when we beat them. there was another game where we had to face a team that had every member with some sort of immunity/resurrection ultimate. I feel like that kind of ingenuity is the thing that makes LOL great and if you only play bots you never get to experience a lot of the cool things that can happen.
If it is the people that get you down just mute them, anyone that rages in a normal just deserves the report/ignore button anyways. By playing bots all the time you are essentially muting a part of the game instead, and a lot of the cool people that play it too. If you let the jerks dictate how you play the game isn't your solution just giving them a victory? You gain a lot more as a person by actually learning to overcome obstacles, not by giving yourself pre-ordained victories.

posted a message on why so much fiora hate?Posted in: Champions and Gameplay
If you put a melee carry top they are supposed to be strong split pushers/tower destroyers. The problem with fiora is that unlike yi, tryn, and the oft forgotten nexus assassinator rengo is that they all are capable of doing the same things she is except they can do it better and do other stuff too. Even if they are behind they can still backdoor and escape when necessary and they can all heal themselves by methods other than aa'ing. even trundle can split push(he can q towers which i think is hysterical) and is a much better teamfighter than fiora even if he doesn't snowball. a fiora that hasn't snowballed does what exactly?

posted a message on THE DANGER ZONEPosted in: Gentleman Gustaf
I mained rumble in season 2, and played him a lot even while i was leveling. the changes that they have made to him this season have been unfortunate and confusing. I think having danger zone amplify different spells with different ratios is just silly and confusing. taking power away from his ult and his e are taking away power from the skills which actually took skill to use and shifting it to his q in danger zone is just saying when you lane with rumble you have to take more risks doing so. It was already difficult for rumble to trade without pushing his lane incidentally, and now it will be nigh aggravating. I find it particularly disturbing they feel the need to continue nerfing ap bruisers like rumble and ZAC in top while allowing their ad counterparts to remain dominant. Jayce, renekton, and kha'zix are practically running wild right now because in addition to those champions being very strong due to the fact they are rarely treated to balance changes, their item choices allow them to always be relevant late game whether they are behind in lane or not(I'm looking at you manamune and BC)

Hi RoG friends, I've been losing a lot of games lately because of my teammates constantly getting caught, being in the wrong place at the wrong time (IE; "lets farm wolves while dragon is being contested) How do I combat this? What can I possibly do to carry people through this?
Lots of warding, appropriate pings. Map control in general, aka taking out towers and enemy wards with pings/oracles.
Posting buff timers on team chat like "ob 17:32" means our blue spawns at 17:32, same for dragon or baron. And reminding your team of these timers 30~ seconds ahead of time, or even a min or 2.
This i use the 5 step process for shotcalling:
1. at min before objective spawn i post in chat, getting oracles if necessary.
2. 30 seconds before i pink objective and green surrounding area appropriately.
3. 15 seconds before I ping objective repeatedly.
4. right before we start objective i post the next action/objective in chat.ex: drag then push mid
5. take objective and ping the next action to take repeatedly.

posted a message on Who do you build trinity force on now-a-daysPosted in: Champions and Gameplay
Quote from PMilkos »
The problem with Trinity Force is that, quite simply, Iceborne Gauntlet exists. Iceborne Gauntlet is similar to Trinity Force, only much, much better. It gives you a hugely better slow, is AoE and it gives stats that generally make sense for people that would want to buy it - Mana, AP and CDR for better spell spam and armor to survive being in AA range. Not every stat ever, like Trinity Force. Especially the Crit+ AS part of it makes no sense - TF is primarily an item for hybrid champions with spamable spells that want a non-scaling boost to make their autoattacks not suck compaired to their spells. If they wanted stats that scale with their other AA stats then they'd just buy a different item.
So, until Trinity Force is changed in some meaningful way, please do yourself a favor and pick IBG instead.
Yeah this is basically it. Also this meta isn't really great for hybrid champs anyway. When was the last time you saw jax or hyrbrid kayle, etc in competitive play(akali doesnt count as hybrid). Because IBG and Bork exist the champs that would get triforce can get those instead. maybe if people just stopped buying health items tri-force might come back, but the ways things are going i think that will get worse before it gets better

idk, i guess quinn and irelia. you could get it on jayce i suppose but he has so many other item options he doesnt really need it. for all the other champs who used to use it i think iceborne gauntlet is better. It does the same thing except at less cost and the slow is more reliable.

"the now op muramana"? Nothing has changed in this patch.
TBH, I always have trouble stopping a Zed jumping at my squishies because he bursts so hard and fast I cant CC him in time.
Am I the only one worrying about Akali? Giving her W vision AND partly reverting the ult nerf might be a bit too much. On the flipside, if Akali CAN do tricks, this could mean they might be able to nerf her damage (finally).
I also hate the Cass buff, TBH....
i meant now op as in since it was chaged a patch or 2 ago to spell-->physical damage on the passive, not as in 3.7 now. 3.7 is the future for now
