I wouldn't say its because you are new to jungling: its what usually happens. As a jungler you get less gold and EXP than the lanes. its natural to be slightly behind lanes in levels and gold. If you find yourself 2-3 levels behind the support, then you aren't farming the jungle enough. It's a balancing act. Try to hit level 4 before ganking lanes. Try watching and applying the Stonewall vids, as they are a pretty amazing resource.

The champ I learned to jungle with was Maokai. He's not as popular as he was in season 2, but is still really strong clear with great ganks. Plus, he can recover fairly well if he falls behind.

sirdrawesome: silver V. I have skype, EST time zone.
I can play any role, but I enjoy jungle and support. I like tank/support junglers like Maokai, Amumu, Nunu, or Naut. I can play any support bot lane.

posted a message on Another warning...but why?Posted in: General Discussions
A few things:
1. Its a warning. Not the end of the world. As pointed out before, you are lucky to get off with a warning. Rape comments are completely unnecessary, and a sign of small and insignificant genitalia.
2. You are the blend of smug and self-righteous that really pisses people off. Its one thing to rage, swear, or fly off the handle. Its another to talk down to strangers in /all chat while feeding with Karthus.
3. Normally, I wouldn't mind. However, in addition to getting the warning, you have deemed it necessary to go get the feedback of strangers in a forum, for strange reasons that I can't even fathom.
Hate to break it to you, but if you need the consensus of a group to tell how to behave normally in a free to play video game, you are an asshole. Bottom line. Change it while you can, or I'm sure you will be posting forum drivel on subsequent bans.

posted a message on Your first pentakillPosted in: General Discussions
I got my first pentakill around my 600th win. It was the first time I played Katarina, and I went in and 1v5'd their team. It was the last time I played Kata.
The funniest/most satisfying penta I had was with Heimerdinger. Before at the game started, my teammates accused me of trolling for going mid with the 'donger against Diana. I got pretty fed in lane and got a penta during a fight at baron. I really hope Heimerdinger gets to the point where he isn't just a "troll pick" that you get flamed at for. Nothing is more satisfying (or hilarious) then running in circles, spamming missiles and having the creepy robot lady yell "PENTA KILL".

posted a message on Elise or Zed junlge -Yeah its me againPosted in: General Discussions
I would go with Zed. Good chance Elise gets nerfed in the near future. Zed doesn't have great ganks pre-6 but hes an incredible duelist and one of the fastest clearing junglers in the game; when he ganks with his ult its devastating.
IMO I don't think Elise scales very well into late game. Even hyper fed Elises will drop off in damage at some point, where Zed just gets stronger the game goes on.

If I had to pick a champ to learn around level 20 and stick with it would be Ryze. He's easy enough to pick up and can carry a team. Plus, his lack of escapes forces you to learn positioning. Hes also a great champ to learn smart casting with. He's also fairly balanced atm, so I wouldn't expect many major nerfs coming. Also, Ryze rebounds really well. He's the posterchild for "lose lane win game". Really fun champ too.
He's 450 IP too, so you can start saving up for runes instead of blowing 6300 on a flavor of the month OP champ.

posted a message on Fizz or Ahri?Posted in: Champions and Gameplay
IMO, Fizz is more fun to play and can absolutely dominate mid lane once you get good with him. Also saw a stonewall vid for jungling him, so there is that as well. I find Ahri to be exceptionally bland in mid lane.

posted a message on For additional cc on cho'gath: Frozen Mallet or Rylias?Posted in: Champions and Gameplay
If any, Rylais would be better. Why not get another damage item, an aura item, or a survivability item? CC seems attractive, but it seems like beating a dead horse.
Where would you itemize this in the build? Is it for top, mid, or jungle cho?

Since the boots nerf and change in passive gold income, what have people been starting builds with and why? Seems like the boots + 3 pots is not as strong, and the fairy charm ->philo stone not as mandatory. Also, what do people think of the pots + ward start?
