Glad to see you agreed with me on some points at least. Yeah I did leave out singed and idk why. lol The reason I say Karthus is because you pick Karthus to win the game. Karthus is awful against practically every mid laner. But you pick him to farm a lot and then hope you don't feed to much because late game you push R and everybody loses half of their health bar. I don't like Xin because his damage got nerfed and he usually builds tanky. which is fine, but in solo queue you need more than just survivability to carry from the jungle, unless your team is good. (which is usually not the case lol) That is why I prefer Jarvan over Xin in solo queue.

On another note, yes this is a guide for bronze and silver because look at the title of the thread. :P I'm Diamond btw, but I play with my not so good friends on a smurf and I tell them to play these champs and why they should.

I'm still really not convinced on Karthus though, he's too prone to getting snowballed against, and depends on the enemy team to not finish too early, which isn't always a reliable tactic.
You said it yourself right there with "hope you don't feed too much". That's certainly not the best way to carry a low elo game.
Here's a random anecdote I remember, Chaox was smurfing at silver and was playing Karthus one game. He was feeding quite hard versus an Annie (Regi was laughing his ass off in the background).
Also, I believe CC and burst damage are the most OP things at that elo, and Karthus brings neither, as opposed to every other non-ADC champion you mentioned.

The Xin nerfs were so minimal...his E damage got reduced by a bit, and the base damage on his ult got nerfed a bit. Late game, with just a brutalizer, and Locket (for CDR) I'm sure he does more DPS than Jarvan anyday, thanks to his crazy W steroid and Q CD resets. The goal of Xin nerfs was to discourage Xin players from building Aegis+Locket+Warmogs+Randuins and still deal decent damage. As long as you manage to build one damage item (can be as small as a Brutalizer or as big as a BorK), the nerfs are practically non-existant because he still has strong scalings

Just to clear this up, there's almost 0 chance a Rioter will see this, so the "@Riot" tag is pretty unnecessary.

This looks really well thought out, I would suggest posting on reddit for more exposure.

I stopped reading at about the end of the first half of the text. Too much QQ and false statements.

This guy is right. Honestly, you are most likely not playing the right/best champions for solo queue.

    Top: Elise, Rumble, Renekton

    Mid: Kassadin, Karthus, Lux

    Jungle: Hecarim, Vi, Jarvan

    ADC: Caitlyn, Tristana, Miss Fortune

    Support: Thresh, Blitzcrank, Taric, Lulu

They may not necessarily be your best champions skill wise, but if you pick them and get better with some over time, you will find yourself gaining more rating. (And not posting anymore of these QQ threads :P) I know I did not list all of the best solo queue heroes, but I at least gave you a good start for who you should play in each role to give you the most power and control over the outcome of the game. Good luck broski

    Here's my take on this.

Top: Choices are perfect, maybe Singed could be added in because he stomps low elo while also being top 10 in winrates, but whatever.

Mid: Kassadin and Lux are really good, I'll agree. Karthus however I have to disagree with. He loses lane in 90% of matchups, does poorly vs highly mobile champions and relies on people letting him freefarm, I've never seen a Karthus carry a low elo game, they usually get snowballed against hard by a good jungler/mid. Lastly, this seems to be a guide for silver/bronze players, who will rarely ever farm enough to play Karthus to his full potential (he sucks otherwise).

Jungle: Top-notch, but I can't believe you left out the first, easiest, and most prominent member of the "big 4 junglers", a.k.a. Xin Zhao.

    ADC: Perfect

    Support: Perfect

I usually make my decision depending on the base damage and ad ratios of my champ's abilities.

If they have high base damage I will roll ArP, if they have high ratios and base damage on the lower side, I will go AD.

    So AD casters: Pantheon/Zed/Kha'Zhix/Talon
AD Bruisers: Nasus, Renekton, Darius, can't think of many others atm

Which ones would you go flat AD on, and which ones would you roll ArP?

This is probably a biased comment, but whatever:

Have you considered using Lolking guides? I feel they're much clearer and easier to use, and it's much easier to do matchup sections over there. Seeing as your guide isn't fully done yet anyway, I doubt it would take much effort to copy-paste the content.

Sounds like a shittier version of Singed then if Volibear is so heavily reliant on FB

A lot harder to get that early gank now too thanks to huge tower buffs.

Erm...not really, the reason that's so is because Volibear is usually played as a jungler, as opposed to singed being a Toplaner, who has much more farm available.

If you play Volibear top (many do), he's pretty much on par with singed in terms of damage and threat level, with similar farm/kills.

What about Renekton? Manaless lane bully that turns into a armor-shredding tank with persistent aoe damage. He saw a lot of action, at least in the EU LCS.

I'm guessing he's focusing on soloQ, and for some reason, renekton isn't as much of a soloQ monster as he is in pro play.

I dont like Nasus, people kite the shit out of him. Not to mention you would need like 2500 damage per Q with max cdr to get damage output comparable to 6 item ad carry out of it (and unlike adc you would still get kited to hell and back). In short - he sucks at carrying.

His W is a pretty strong CC though.

Except for the last one, your points are incredibly stupid, I don't even know where to begin.

ADC's are supposed to be the highest DPS class in the game, I don't see why you came to the conclusion that he needs to have the same DPS as an ADC to do well. He is a bruiser, who is supposed to build almost full tank. His ult also deals some sweet damage, while giving him lots of free tankiness, and his E is a massive flat armor reduction, and other physical DPS on his team will love him for it.
