Did we forget this is a naut thread? Any of the tanky junglers can quickly become a terror. The point is when you have a good game you don't need to build like a support anymore. You can snowball into a tower diving monster building like a top lane rushing gold efficient tanky dps items like sunfire, wits end/abyssal rather then shurelyas, aegis, sightstone, etc. etc.
Obviously they aren't bad items, but the combat stats on them are just sad and they will not put you in a position where the other team needs to consider focusing the tank or die, giving your team the freedom to kill shit.
^ On top of the fact the 11 minute "math" everyone likes to talk about requires a max 100% cs that nears the tournament record...
People are still playing junglers like support 2.0 afraid to take some cs and snowball after getting a couple kills. If I'm having a good game, I gear to carry. That means no shurelyas or aegis rush dumping 4500 gold for 2500 worth of true combat stats.
I was talking about this with my team and looking over our gold amounts on my 5s team history and even my mediocre games aren't far off the solo lanes. Games I scored well, I take near top cs and gold. It is no longer an uphill battle to carry from the jungle if you play and gear to do so.
Last season everybody built mobils and did not have tenacity - but it is a requirement now? It's nice to have, but no you do not NEED it.
Nautilus has tons of item/rune/mastery options. Last season dorans shield was one of the fastest, most gold efficient ways to 1-4.... He can do w/e you want if you make up for what he's lacking in other areas. Don't want to start machete? Go amp tomb 2 pots or AP blues and quints. I've tried the silly attack speed heavy build above and it clears crazy fast, but of course it screws you in other ways.
Get that feeling I'm getting level 2 red invaded? I glance at red, do wraiths, check red again, do wolves, head back red at 3. If they stole it while I did wolves, they wasted a minute sitting in the bush and I'm ok with that. It's the price you pay for playing a weak 1-4 and keeps you alive.
I like the idea of the 2 part slow, but being an aura completely removes the limitations on her W and E and removes the need for Q to apply slow, completely changing her entire kit.
I've been thinking along the lines of a % reduced damage amount per target you have slowed. This would help the jungle and give some much needed natural tankiness without being crazy considering it's hard to slow multiple targets outside of ult and dash.

A lot of champions become monsters with 15k worth of items, her problem is getting there.
That's an easy to obtain 10k gold, 5 item build in any non-20 minute surrender game.
The problem is people building shurelyas, frozen heart, randuins, and (lesser-so) aegis - spending thousands of gold on hp 5,mp 5, mana, cdr, auras/actives, all non-combat stats - and wondering why you get 2 shot and also don't do any damage and feel like an ult bot.
Around level 6-7 when you start to get some points in W and have ult, she becomes more like a shyv or mundo being able to clear fast and do what you want without fear of getting caught. Her second summoner is choice much like shyv (the teleport ganks are insane). Early game just don't dash into a buff unless you check the side bush and know it's safe...
I've been thinking she is another sleeper nautilus where months go by and no one realizes the power until a pro does it and my favorite champ becomes a perma-ban until nerfed out :p
Problem last season was the lack of gold with her lack of tankiness making so if you had a bad game, it was really bad. Now that you can compete with lanes there's no reason to continue the support jungle role - especially in solo queue. She becomes a monster with things like sunfire, haunting guise, abyssal, sorc shoes, tenacity stone. Sort of like an ap amumu.
Her W is anywhere from 150-200+ damage per second on everyone you hit with your ult>E. It's completely insane really. That's a 900-1200 aoe damage ability on a 10 second cd... With liandrys and sunfire, no one can come anywhere near you.
I've been liking the choice boots as well. On Sej I've been playing with ms quints and sorc shoes with some combination of sunfire, abyssal, haunting guise, iron solari, aegis

I've spent several hours testing all kinds of builds on different junglers already. It's currently not far off from live where having no assistance blue and wolves mess you up right off the bat.
There's a ton of AD junglers that can sustain dorans blade+1pot full utility, which is something I really like for early gankers. Having the run speed allows you to skip the run speed quints on those champs for more dps. Another cool thing I played around with - Full offense with crit runes - really surprising and something I intend to experiment more with this season.
Nautilus - someone many people were worried about - can start machete, rejuv bead, 1 pot 0-9-21 wasting no early gold for easy stone, boots on first B. With heavy ap runes I clear 3:45 after very slow wolves, blue start. Some assistance likely puts him at mundo speeds....
