Ezreal E does not ignore CC, it just baits it. If E was instant cast (which would set it apart from literally EVERY OTHER SPELL IN THE GAME) he would still get away, except he wouldn't be stuck in place on the other end, and you would still have your CC available to cast. The only reason spells have cast times in this game is to give opponents warning that they're coming so they can react to them, you can't interrupt any of them except by killing the caster within .25 seconds. If you'd prefer that all spells be instant, then that's fine, but understand what the choice is here. Spells are balanced assuming they can't be interrupted.

The problem with "tanky-assassin-splitpusher" is that he can't be too effective at any of those things or he's overpowered, and if he's not effective at any of them then he isn't used. There's a reason jack-of-all-trades comes with master-of-none.

Also, they have to rip the guts out of his ult and ferocity moves in order to actually buff him in other areas. They don't actually have "unviability" as a goal with changes (old Eve notwithstanding), and all the nerfs he's taken have been as a result of his basic kit being so strong on its own. If they take away or tone down that strength through a skill rework, they can allow him to be good in other areas.

Well, it's good that you didn't intend to offend anybody (I'm not OP btw, or even the other guy you were arguing with; just a guy trying to explain the point in a different way).

The reason it isn't a stupid question, is that Eve was originally a jungle champion as well as a laner, it's just that her AP lane build has kind of overshadowed everything and people forgot that she could also jungle. She is not a joke jungler (or maybe she is now? Certainly only since S3, so not all that long), and she was on the previous lists, so it's not unreasonable to be curious about her absence.

So no, thinking about it for a bit or reading Stonewall's articles does not necessarily lead one to the conclusion that wondering why Eve isn't there is a stupid question. I know why she isn't, she's probably one of the least popular characters to jungle out of the ones that can actually jungle, as well as just not being all that popular these days in general, along with having an abysmal early clear and being fairly squishy, but it's not reasonable to expect everyone to be an expert on the scene and the current meta and champion usages.
