I feel a system like this would ruin the dynamics of the lane, with buying a bloodthirster you're making a risk, if you get ganked and die the enemy AD carry will be able to come back and stand a chance in the lane again. In the late game it increases the time between teamfights as AD carries will want to get the BT fully stacked
