I've had a bug similar to this before where I was actually in my BO3 and had already played my first match.  Both the client and lolking seemed to glitch, because when I played and lost the 2nd game a few days later, it showed a drop in LP, both in the client and on lolking.  As you know, you shouldn't lose LP in the middle of a promo series.  I then played the 3rd game, won, and got promoted.  The dip in LP still shows on my lolking chart to this day even though the 1 loss was game 2 of a promo series.

I had another instance where I had already played my first 2 promo games in a series and then didn't play for about a week.  When I got on to play the last game, the client and lolking were both showing that I was not in a promo series, and had 80-some LP.  I was pretty bummed because I thought I was playing game 3 for promotion.  I thought I was going crazy.  I won the game, and got promoted.  It was game 3 after all.

TLDR: Lots of promo series glitches.  I don't know what happened in your particular instance, but it's probably not too uncommon for strange shit like that to happen.

Yes, I know that.  Basinator was confused, and I was explaining to him that it is a competitive tier list but that there are also some top solo queue picks included at the bottom...

The competitive picks are listed Tier 1 - Tier 5 at the beginning of the article.  Top solo queue picks are thrown in at the end for good measure.  Both are somewhat outdated by now.

Seems about right.  Funny how this applies to pretty much every elo bracket.

I see no reason not to get both on a CDR tank jungler.  They are both extremely cost efficient and the combination of the 2 is a very nice core, giving HP, armor, 20% cdr, tenacity, and an active shield.  IMO start spirit stone, go for locket, then either finish golem, or build your aegis/randuins/whatever you or team may need, and finish golem later.  Locket + Golem is going to be my soloque jungle Nasus core.

You never upgraded it because it wasn't worth it.  Golem is perfect for him now.  HP+CDR+tenacity upgrade for your starting jungle item for less money.  Locket + golem is incredibly cost efficient and an amazing core for him... it's not really even something to debate. Either you see it now based on common sense and understanding of the game, or you see it in 3 weeks once everyone starts building it.

Uhm... A fast locket into Golem gives you a great amount of defensive stats (bit of armor, big chunk of hp + shield), plus 20% cdr, and tenacity.  This is a HUGE bang for your buck and is pretty much the greatest, cost-effective core you could ever hope for.  For your other 20% CDR go either SV vs lots of AP or (more often) FH vs AD.  Jungle Nasus is more about cost efficiency and team utility, so locket+golem+FH is beautiful on him.  After this patch I think you'd have to be nuts to not go Locket+golem as a fast core and then add on whatever you or the team needs (FH, bulwark, randuins, etc).

The Golem change is absolutely going to put jungle Nasus over the top.

Get Golem if the PBE patch goes through that lowers cost and adds 10% CDR!
