I tried support Anivia once, and like people have mentioned before me, she is mana-hungry. Maxing wall first gives amazing ganking potential if you make sure to counter-ward. I played it with a Cait adc, in a full premade team tho', and Anivia is a very coordinated support(much like Janna) in that you can make or break a team fight. Then again, you can do so with Anivia mid too :P. Anyways, I tried getting an early chalice and philo, as well as an aegis, but who knows? You might find success.

A good rule for telling if your KDA is good enough that I personally use keeps me in check
I use for my own personal gain, AP carries should be at least a 1-1.5 KDA (ie, 3-2-X), supports should be 0.75-Infinity, the less deaths the better,(ie, 3-4-X) is 0.75. Jungles and Top solos should be at least a 1 KDA(ie-2-2-X), and adc should be a 1.5-Infinity KDA(The more kills and less deaths, the better). So really, your draven and kat and garen KDAs are great.
On a side note, how would you calculate KDA in a single number like 1, or 1,5? Do you add kills and assists and divide by deaths?(I tried this for my Janna, and I find it hard to believe that it should be 6, 74...)

My first MH was Tri, so while I'm not familiar with the underwater combat issue, I still think I might pick it up. It all depends on whether or not I can convince myself to pick up a WiiU(those things are expensive as **** in Norway!) JUST for MHTriU... consdering that Tri captivated me completely and that the WiiU looks like an interesting system, I suppose I might buy it eventually, maybe even at 23rd(release day is actually 22nd here), but nothing is set in stone.

Thanks, I'll consider Leona as well from now on :P What I find typical for lower league/low elo players are that they are better at kill lanes rather than a farm lane(e.g. carry prioritizes kills and harassing over farm), making Tresh, Blitz and Leona very effective. As of now, the only supports I can play a kill lane in are Sona and possibly Lux, who both lack the stuns or heavy chained CC. Also, are someone familiar with Zyra as a support, and can give me a hint or two on how to play her?

So...I'm a low league player who enjoys playing mostly support and mid lane. And seeing as I like waiting for roles to be called by other players, I often find myself playing supports a lot. Thus, I was wondering which supports I should consider unlocking. Exceptions are probably Tresh and Lulu, who I tried on their free weeks and found really fun.
Current support roster:
Taric, Soraka, Sona, Zyra, Janna, Nunu
Wannabe supports that are frowned upon when played:
Does anyone have a suggestion for a Silver IV-player?

Really enjoying these posts so far! Just wondering, how do you find all the trolls in the earliest games? I've been down to 900, yet never seen a single "true" troll pick or AP Sona...

Thanks for the tips so far. Tried entering a draft normal now. I'll see how it works out XD
EDIT: ended up as a regular blind pick. After 15 min in queue/champ select I gave up...

Sure, the title makes it sound like it's a regular rant on the solo queue and the people who plays within it. But it's more or less meant as a problem I have with the solo queue; I can't seem to bring myself to play it. Normal, Ranked, doesn't matter. I used to be able to solo queue, but as it is now, it completely passes me by. My friends are not there to play with me at all times either. Even though I want to play, I am afraid of pressing the Match me with teammates button, simply because I fear what awaits on the other side.
Thus, I wonder if someone here with similiar experiences might share them, and perhaps give a hint or two on how you handle(d) them. Any help is appreciated!
