when the game started it was 4 bans. now its 6. it definitely should raise to maybe 8 now. but no need for 10 bans yet

the biggest problem with it is he has no concept of his skill level. as a player it is important to know what your good at, what your bad at and what your strengths and weaknesses are. for instance, im a very strong support (champion) player. jungle or support, if i play a supporty champ i will carry. (naut, leona, thresh, lux) however, i know im a terrible carry. bruisers im fine with, but any carry im awful with. I have very strong map awareness, very good prediction skills (skill shots/jungle invasions), and i play fairly safe. however, im slightly slow on the draw so i suck at dueling, and i have an agressive teamfight style (i like initiating).
if I was playing pure support, i can probably hit gold fairly quickly - (ive been rising quickly since i started playing supports more), but if i play exclusively bruisers/carries i would probably top out at silver 4.

Do people really need incentives to play well? I find it hard to believe that anybody hits silver or above and then decides 'eh, I want to play this game, but I don't really care if I win or lose'
i think temporarily - when someone hits the next tier, hits 0 points, and cannot move down, they (or at least I) lose all incentive temporarily. again - temporarily though. then again im not a very competitive person

when i broke bronze and hit silver i immediately felt like a weight was off my shoulders and played 4 games with champs i was trying to learn better (i didnt do terrible, but i couldnt) carry and lost 3 out of the 4. now im back to playing champs im good at and i won 3 or 4 in a row and am up to 90 points
i feel that while teirs should definitely be very hard to lose, they should be able to be lost, (say you lose 15 games in a row or hit -150 lp or something) otherwise the people who just hit division 5 wont have a huge incentive (minus just rising) to play well

i gotta throw two things out there:
Nautilus Jungle and Leona Support. Silver elo doesnt know how to handle CC. put a strong CC champ in the game and they can carry. I find naut to be the strongest jungle in the game right now and leona the strongest support right now (that being said, that is personal opinion) the ONLY problem with naut is he is shut down easily - by having safe lanes and by counter jungling. both those things are seen once every twenty games in silver elo.

If you want someone who can take red fast, just take anyone who clears fast (at least the big buff monster). Another strategy is to just take a person whos good at getting 1v1 kills and kill them when they take/come to take their red (lee sin for example).
Also, Uncla55ified is Olaf really that low of a win rate? Can you provide a link? I'd like to see what people's win rates are :Dhit the link in your signature and hit the "champions" button underneath the search bar

if i GET a madreds razor, i will upgrade it to wriggles 99% of the time. however - i RARELY get a madreds razor. champs like cho, sej, or jarvan are tanky and dont need it. champs like zed or riven dont do alot of auto attacking the jungle monsters so there are alot of better options. the only champ i have gotten it on recently is darius - and even that is questionable in use.

let me put it this way. platinum is in the top 1% going at a very low estimate of 10 million players there are at least 100000 players at or above your elo. That being calculated in, you are asking, with zero league of legends tournament experience, that you AND your friend to be put on a pro team? hmm... good luck with that.
If you want to be a pro in league of legends, make your own team, get on a low end tournament circuit, win that, get in another slightly better tournament circuit and win that, then you will have a shot at being a pro league of legends player. But asking to be put on a pro team on a specific team (curse) site is one of the stupidest things ive ever heard, and while this career path doesnt nessesarily require the smartest people in the world, it requires enough intellegence to at least figure that out.
best of luck bro, i will likely never see you on a pro tournament stream.

I personally really love kha, but I played with him only in season 2, and only as a jungler, and I felt that he sucked as hell (unless you got some kills) and was unplayable top due to the bruiser opness. Now, from what I am hearing all around it looks like he is in a better shape in S3. Does anyone have a link to a good (as in well played, not necessarily high ELO) mid/top/jungle S3 kha-zix video?
id recommend watching voyboy in this one:
http://vods.leaguepedia.com/curse-vs-complexity-lcs-na-qualifier-group/
doesnt really focus on him but it shows what he can do - i started playing him after watching this and have been loving it.
