    1: Well.. yea.  Point still stands, melee needs to move faster.  Udry needs to be faster then ashe, but currently, his bear stance is not fast enough to counter her constant slowing, even with his higher base speed.

    2: Yes, and no.  I mean, yes, in a straight up fight, they would win.  But who's going to give them a straight up fight?  Melee need a sustain boost because they are constantly poked, ranged does not.

    1: Adjust Move Speed.  Melee Champs need to move faster.  Likely this means eliminating/reduce slow stacking.  You can often be inflicted by multiple slows, but rarely do you get more then 1 speed boost.  So ash with a frozen mallet can't circle the poor guy forever.  Or if caitline net's firoa after her dashes, she can still catch up.  Though possibly boosting slow reduction masteries/boots of speed things as well.

    2: Adjust lifesteal.   No one else uses this stat but auto-attackers, so tweak it to give melee an advantage.  Say... 2/3 lifesteal on ranged attacks.  BoTRK probably needs tweaking as well.

    Galio can counter mages pretty hard.

    Fiddle.  Max dark wind first.

    Soraka.  Silence, call starts, and can help in other lanes with her ult.

    Fizz.  Against any skill shot champ he wins, if you can master him.

    Also, on-hit thresh.  Yes, really.  With enough time/souls he'll kill anyone.  BotRK, + malady + wit's end + hurricane + void staff + 200 souls, and you win (unless theirs a veigar, who makes your free AP hurt).  You'll be dishing out near full carry damage, with more shred, armor, and to 3 people.  Of course, that's a 50+ minute match, which nearly never happens.

    Soraka is tier 1, low tier 1 perhaps, but tier 1.

    Chalice, -> CDR (vistage + boots) -> rayli's -> torment.  Bulwark if no one else get's it, otherwise omen or will.  Crucible if the game is long enough.  Just rain starts as much as possible while poking with silence and throwing out heal/armor.  She won't carry, but put +100 armor on the initiator and -24 MR on the enemy and take off the top 20% of their health and you've given your team a big advantage.

    Some champs (thresh, nausus, veigar), really need ARAM changes.

    It's not about playstyle, they simply do not get the expected numbers that way.

    Jax is tier 3 - no poke, but aoe stun and plenty of damage

    Kennen 2 - good poke, good speed when needed, and the AoE ult.

    Orianna 2 - poke, shiled, aoe though small.

    Rammus 3 - taunt can help, as can his ult, but he's to vulnerable to pokes.

    Soraka low 1- heal, poke, aoe team buff, and heal.

    Well... if they do anything with the soul drops with their "per map" adjustments, thresh should be tier 2.

    Not getting souls for damage/armor really kinda puts him in a bind.

    His grab is worse then blitz's, but he's still can do it, and he's got plenty of AoE CC
