For the Vlad vs Swain: I don't know the matchup, but as i experienced Swain is extremely bad pusher, so if you push the lane to swain he can do nothing against you. Actually Vladimir is a great pusher. :o

So again: The question is just how good you are with vladimir, vlad have a great counterplay potential against swain, even if he is much weaker in an all in fight (but what idiot vlad try to all in against swain? o_O)

vlad has a really weak early game + no pushing ability until he is aorund lvl 9. if he tries to push hard before he hits lvl 9, he will lose too much health just from his e.

Whatever, if you need an adc, i guess there is no better fitting than "Carry Harder". Check him out, his skills will wet your pants.

even if we assume kassa counters nida ( which i would not agree to), nida can still go top or support. another point is, if you cant make good things happen in your lane, you can always roam and kill other lanes ( mid is the best lane for this). you can play the objectives game and get towers , dragon, buffs etc. noone forces you to stay in lane until minute 20.

and i really dont see how kassa counters nida? nida has ranged harrass + heal and kassadin has not much before lvl 6. even after lvl 6, he wont kill a good nida because she has the jump and heal. even IF kassa should be able to kill nidalee, you can still choose to build a bit more tanky with early MR or stuff.

there are no hard counters in LoL. I guess you are asking for safe laners 8 champions that can farm from range, even when losing the lane). which lanes/ roles are you talking about?

But I don't like to play same hero over and over until I'm blue in the face. I play different heroes almost every game. Maybe that's my curse. If you are looking for a pro team : no , not the slightest chance for you, if you stay at your league ( and skill level)

If you are looking for a team that plays semi casual and wants to participate in " Go4LoL" or other comparable things, just open a new threat or look through other posts and apply there.

Do people seriously forget about those two?

AD Sion is the worst top laner i can think of. EVERYONE outlane him hard and he is soo easy to gank. theoretically he is insanly strong lategame but you wont reach lategame and/ or you are a melee carry with no gapcloser or anything. you will not reach your target and you will not stay in range to do more than 1 or 2 autoattacks.

What would Volibear use atama´s for? Voli builds HP and some attackspeed. theoretically atama´s would be ok as 6th item but you just get some attackdamage ( which wont have much effect lategame vs armor, because you cannot build atama´s, HP and armorpen), a really small amount of armor and this wasted crit.

There are VERY few generalists in high elo. If you have 2000 wins, and play ALL champions, that is an average of less than 20 games on each champ - not NEARLY enough experience to be diamond level with any of them. 

The vast majority of Diamond level players have a defined role (MID) and a very short champion list (Ryze, Karthus, Gragas) that they work from. 

If you are a player with pro mechanics and understanding of the game it takes you about 10 games to get this champion to pro level. No champion is really that different from another to not get the hang quickly.

note: this is not only my opinion but voyboy also stated about the same on the NA summer promotion stream.

The reason most player have a small champion pool is, that you lose some skill with a champion as fast as you gain it. dont play a champion for 2 days and you already need at least a game to get you back to your previous skill level. this means you cant have a pro- skill level on EVERY champion.

My toplaners AD Bruisers are (darius) and olaf. olaf no major CC move? Olaf has his Axe on a basically non existant cd. he cann apply a permaslow + cant be cc´d himself. He really has no need for another (weak) permaslow. Darius on the other hand has his e + his passive. IF he ever gets in range of someone he can stick in range ( assuming no escapes for the enemy). Frozen Mallet wont help him to get in range or to stay in range ( since he does this already and Mallet wont help vs escapes).

Both are atm not in the best spot but still viable ( just not the best top lane picks). Olaf really loves HP and CDR + some resistances. Early Giants Belt into Warmogs / Sunfire + Boots is core but everything else should be situational. Maybe Spirit Visage vs heavy AP damage ( MR ,CDR and more Sustain), maybe Bulwark ( take one for the team) , maybe Randuins , maybe locket , maybe some damage item later on. Olaf is really flexible since he really just needs CDR and some HP.

Darius might get a small damage item ( hexdrinker / bruta) before finishing his Giants Belt item. You should also consider Last whisper later in the game but everything else is again situational. The Item should be more focused on defenses instead of CDR and maybe skip some auro items you would get on olaf.

imo its kinda useless to have a general build for all AD bruiser. its even not too smart to have a build for one single champion. there is a reason that in every good guide only core items + situational / efficient item for this champion are mentioned.

if your question is : if atamas is one of these situational items for some champions, i would answer with : yes it might be in very specific circumstances. and if you ask further i would lay them down. but if you really ask for the full build, id say that this buid is decent ( meaning nothing too bad like AP for AD champions) but far from the best for most champions and most games.
