Sejuani has a very strong waveclear and decent mobility, once the laning phase ends she can splitpush very well to get more gold to complete her build. She also has decent clearing when she gets going, so there isn't really any reason for her to be more starved of gold than similar junglers.
She's still useful without items due to having the best initiate in the game, the fact that she can build into a complete monster as time passes is a bonus.

Right. I have roughly 100 Kayle games in S2, and started playing her AP immediately after the Rengar patch hit and up to the end of S2. I repeatedly had people in my games who would AFK from the start because I picked her, while now she's among the most banned champions in the game. I also played MF in that timeframe and got 15 wins straight in ranked, while people were complaining about me picking her. I have tons of other examples, I played Malphite, Nautilus and Mundo in early S2 as they went from trollpicks to "OP".
While pro players will eventually find out that a champion is good, it can take them quite a while. Right now Sejuani is a beast if you make full use of the fact that she can dish out a lot of damage on top of having CC. Get a haunting guise to boost your damage before getting a tanky item, and complete your Liandry's eventually, much like you would do on Elise. The current items reward champions who can pull off a Tanky build with Liandry's, and Sej fits the bill perfectly.
Also, while Sej has decent AoE clearing, her W does double damage to her main target and does %health damage. I find that the big creep often dies slightly before my AoE takes down the rest, so her single target damage isn't the bottleneck when clearing, and it never was. The change in jungle focus from AoE to single target really didn't hurt her.

Yep. Sejuani had a decent enough winrate. She was a very solid champion, just underplayed, much like Kayle.
In these notes she just got a Malphite ult on an 11 second cooldown. Nothing can ever go wrong with this.

Stonewall has reccomanded Jarvan as a good beginner jungler because playing him teaches new players good habits. He's also a well rounded jungler with good ganking potential. I'd go with that.

Try building Sejuani as an AP bruiser. Rush Liandry + Rylais after getting boots and razors. She ends up doing a crapton of damage with that build, while still being tanky and giving a huge ammount of utillity.
Her early game is roughly as weak as Amumus, but her mid and late transition with that build is absolutely insane. If you're ranking Amumu at tier 1 because of his transition, you should bump up Sejuani a bit.

Sejuani. Stand in the middle of the enemy team constantly applying liandry's while permaslowing them. Rush it after boots and madred razors when jungling. It makes her damage output ludicrous for her role.
Any champion who can go Liandry's + Rylais will make a nigh unkillable bruiser with tons of magic damage. If this path is appliable on a champion, it'll be worth it.

It would be nice if there was a way for the system to detect cases where someone has been DCed for more than 50% (or 75%?) of the game. Then we wouldn't have the "bullied to leave" problem to the same extent, and you'd avoid the worst cases where someone disconnects at the very beginning and can't get back in.

Sejuani is one of these characters that have a decent kit but fall short 100% because of numbers, in this case bad base resistances mostly. She's just not tanky even though she's supposed to be.
Her kit doesn't have any real built in survivability like Udyr or Vi, so she really needs good base stats to be a viable tank.

Leona is a good pick to crush weak lanes, but she's very risky to pick against any strong lane. If you get behind with a leona lane you will most likely lose the lane so hard that you'll lose the game.
If you're picking Blitz aganst a strong Taric lane, such as Taric/Graves, you're doing it wrong. If you get a pull they'll just hard engage on your AD and burst his socks off before he can do anything.
Then there's the fact that supports with Auras are actually very good, which is why Taric and Sona have had high winrates. You might not SEE the benefit they give you, but it's actually a very large factor in teamfights. A few months ago, Sona used to be the king support and Taric 2nd, Sona got nerfed so Taric ended up being #1. He's a sustain support that gives tons of Auras in teamfights, gives a hard stun, and can burst your socks off. He's has had the least nerfs amongst all supports in LoL history.
