Tbh I don't see a glaring issue here. He is like a Yorick top. You pick him to harass your opponent and put them behind your team. You aren't going to contribute that much late game, there are definite counterplay options and he falls off late game. It seems like he thrives in an environment where no one wards. All lanes should be warding river in some fashion revealing your jungle entrances.
Personally I appreciate the control jungle coming back as a viable alternative to a gankfest.

Except they are triple nerfing jayce. Tear change, transform change, and black cleaver change. Previously jayce would get 3 BC stacks from 1 auto attack (muramana, the aa itself, and his stance change damage) its going to be interesting to see how he fares. I think he will still be good.
This. You failed to mention its extra damage vs towers, which is one of the bigger advantages it has over other items.
He is also placing no value in area control. Cass, ziggs, nasus act. All have great ape control abilities that shut down half the map. This makes landing pokes literall like shooting fish in a barrel.
His list is quite bad to say the least. Is this for a random game or a draft mid? I have destroyed enemy teams with almost all of the bottom tier picks. This guy is probably building everyone like he's on sr or something. He is overvaluing poke throughout the list.
I must absolutely disagree on trundle, simply because his wall can set up so much for a team.
Aram secret: you can make almost anyone good by simply buying an aegis. That and horn will give you enough to shrug off most early game poke - even the best of them.
Why put jayce in bottom when you can build him as an adc from a solo lane? You would be better off making a kill lane bottom and having jayce top than putting him with a support. Jayce needs the levels.
I agree, the changes are really minor and I'll gladly change a w Nerf for better base stats. Maxing Q has always been the best choice on her IMO.
Because sona is so squishy I have to disagree about her being easy. You really need to have her ranges down well and managing power chord is quite difficult for boobies.
The reason she will be popular is because her ultimate is godlike in power.
