Akali just has non-skillshot nukes and does not care for your escapes with her 3 dashes. It's too damn easy and too much reward. If you build Rylai's and a warmog, along with her spellvamp she even has the surviveability of a bruiser. If you cant see this needed to be nerfed you are mistaken.
Try to make an argument with less rage and caps, makes discussing changes like this easier.
because she don't have cc(like diana, talon, zed, kassadin) no escape (like zed kha'zix katarina fizz, and shadow dash is too situational by position and LoS), her "tankiness" is simpy negated by stuns and silences and her "defensively steroid" is simpy countered by 125g pink ward. she can do only damage... and how she can sustained damage? she don't build AS and crit, she use energy and have only 1 system to regain it. If the majority of players can't switch target and focus to death the problem isn't the champion...
